It is quite a job to go to a game these days…not even considering the financial impact. How many of you make it happen?

Nope, I'd rather stay home and watch it on my 65 incher
no traffic/parking nightmares, no drunk morons at the games, can pause the game when I want snacks or need a bathroom break, etc.

No problem….I try to attend two home games and one away game per year. Will not make a road game this season.

Last D1 game I attended was 2000. D3 as recently as this season.

I try to go to a couple of home games a year. I live about 6 hours away from Oxford. I may go to Baton Rouge this year for the Ole Miss game.

I’ve gotten too old for the hassle of attending football games. Plus the expense is ridiculous.
But I can appreciate those who enjoy the experience. To each his own.

Have been to two Texans games so far this year. Sunday night against the Bears was a blast. Lost count on Astros.
Used to be at DKR all the time when we lived in Austin, but between traveling for work and kids’ baseball, dance and football, hard to get back there much these days.

I go to all the home games with a couple family members. Have since I was a kid.
Every now and then hit an away game that's close by. Been a while since I've traveled further than Tennessee.

In "light of" OP's post, I'd like to know how many games you attend?

Usually try to make 2 home games a year.
Did A&M already this year. Questioning doing a second because that sure is a lotta time, driving, money, and other annoyances to watch a shite-arse product. Sigh.

I attended a lot of games. We have 6 tickets. Me and my brother in law have them in the upper deck. We give them away also to family members. I will attend most big games in Tiger stadium.

Answer the question Jrv…you always have plenty to say about everything else under the sun, so let’s hear it. How many “big time” Kansas football games do you attend?

I have attended over 200 games in my lifetime. Most in Neyland. My longest streak of not missing home games, other than 1 game, was 17 years. That streak was interrupted once 5 years in. My father's death prevented me from attending UT/UK 1991. Other than that game the streak was continous.
The Orange Bowl against Clemson after 2022 was the first bowl game or special event game I missed since the Orange Bowl after the 1997 season.
You name it, I went. SECCG, special event games in Atlanta, Nashville, Bristol, bowl games.
I began to slow down about 5 year ago, and now only attend one or two a year. It's just too expensive, too crowded, too much hassle to get in and park, and then the nightmare of getting out.
I probably won't attend another bowl game unless we make it to the NC game. It's literally thousands of dollars to attend a bowl game. The cost has just gotten out of hand to attend a football game.
I will go to Hawaii if we ever make the Aloha Bowl.

I live in West Tennessee northwest to be exact 10 miles from Kentucky 30 miles from Mo.
It’s around a700 mile trip so we try and go to 2 a year I alway go to the Vandy game when it’s our away game.
But now I have 2 1 year old grandkids I watch 1 of them during the week because my daughter and her husband work second.
My wife passed away in 2019 so I’m all they have to help out.
But once they get a little older it’s going to be so much fun for them singing Rocky Top and wearing orange!!

We still tailgate for every home game (started out much smaller pre-Saban), maybe get to a different "marquee" away game every other year or so if possible.
When Alabama first made the BCS, tried my best to start experiencing everything because I thought with that format, a national championship may literally never happen again in my lifetime (it had been 17 years and 13 years between the prior two).
Imagine my surprise and the travel expenditures just trying to get to a fraction of the post-season games since then — it's been comically ridiculous.
I guess NIL will eventually pry the enjoyment out of this shite one day, and I'll just sit my arse at home.

My late friend used to ask people who claimed to be big fans of a school, especially Bama fans.
"How many games you been to this this year?"
When they would say, "well, I don't really go to the games."
His response was always, "You're not a fan, you just watch too much TV."
