Nine game SEC schedule. It’s a little disingenuous just to assume they’re gonna win them all. They’re a key injury away from being a 3-4-5 loss team.

Bigger question is: When will the LSU tshirt fan base realize, their tiny poor broke arse school in shithole Baton Rouge is no longer relevant? When LSU can no longer rob enough children’s hospitals, beg its two donors to support a cesspool athletic department?

If LSU has not been relevant, what does that say about 90 percent of the SEC

Depends on definition of relevancy. Are we talking being viewed as a legit contender for the title/number of playoff appearances? Seems lately in CFB that has been the metric that people care about to show there’s a level of program relevancy/upward trend. Ole Miss is at least caught up to LSU on playoff appearances.

8am on a Tuesday and you're thinking about the future trajectory of our football program

Making a 12 team playoff =/= making a 4 team playoff

Everyone does this, including your panic-hire coach.

You talking about the coach who is 4-1 vs the top 25? The one who has more top 10 wins in 6 games than Kiffin does in 15 years? The guy who just turned kiffins a-hole into an exploded can of spam? That panic hire?

I think when you make the top 4, it can be fairly equal. Still don’t have that natty though.

Ban bet for 2027 then. Ole Miss wins no more than 8 games next year. You maybe right because I like Pete Golding. I think he's a solid coach.

So, to paraphrase the op.....

Ole Miss stomped LSU's arse
LSU is still more "relevant" !

Ok..ok sorry.. it's probably not as funny as I imagine.

If only we had on the field results that could finally put the hypotheticals to rest. You got your arse beat three days ago. Get lost loser.

current coach isn't good enough

Lets take a look at what Big Balls Pete has done.

5-1 as a HC. In 6 of his games, 5 of the teams were in the top 25.

He has wins over a #20, #3, #24, and #7.

Is there a better resume in the SEC in the last 6 games? Wanna look at Lane's last 6?

Only played 1 ranked team and lost.

Most casual football fans have no idea that we won the Sugar Bowl by kicking two field goals over 50 yards to tie the game. And then another one near 50 to win it.

Kiffin wouldn't have kicked those. He would have gone for it with a DL or a WR running play and gotten stuffed.

Golding has won at least two games Kiffin would have lost. The Sugar Bowl by not being an idiot. And the 2026 Magnolia Bowl by out coaching the guy across the field from him.

A ban bet with an account that is less than 3 years old is worth less than nothing.
