Well, we just had two former national coaches of the year as OC and DC...and a head coach who had not been a coordinator before he was handed the job....we all saw how that worked out.
Will Pittman with lessor coordinators be Matt Luke 2.0?
I also find it interesting that Matt Luke is being paid a higher salary than Pittman was as the Georgia OL coach. Evidently, Kirby thinks Matt Luke is at least equal the OL coach that Pittman is.

I’m gonna say this: I’m a huge fan of Briles as an OC and I think He was a great hire for y’all.
You’re defense will suffer because they don’t just go fast they go really fricking fast.
That being said, you have to stop thinking of Pittman as an OL coach. He’s got too much to do to man that position and he would be a weird combo with Briles anyway.
Odom is a solid hire but at the end of the day nothing replaces talent on defense.

HC who is ex O-line coach. Great recruiter. Loyal to the school above all else.
OC and DC have HC experience, and HC success.
