I’m sorry but last year LSU was a few underthrown passes away from leaving BDS with a W.

Even if Etling completed one of those passes it would have made it 24-17 Bama. Both passes were on the same drive.
Hell if you want to play that game Bama was one overthrow from making it 31-10

I cant see LSU ending this streak in the next ten years unless Bama royally screws up.

We just have to get Saban to switch from Redman to Chesterfields.

And team with a decent defense and a fast paced passing offense will eat Bama alive. That has always been Sabans kryptonite. He looks like a deer in headlights against that.

shite, Ole Miss kicked their arse that exact same way twice with a half arse defense one of those years.

You tell yourself that it's only Saban as if A) Bama doesn't own the series even with the Saban years excluded, B) Bama doesn't have more SEC & National titles than anyone else in the conference even if you exclude the Saban years and C) Bama won't continue to win after Saban retires (hell, even Les Miles managed to keep going what Saban built at LSU. Imagine what Dabo will be able to do with the even better product that Saban has built at Bama)

That may have been true three years ago, but with with the way Bama runs its offense these days, and our usually stout defense, I like Bama’s chances. Your deer in the headlight reference was cute, though.

Alas, LSU is no Ole Miss.

I am just shocked this thread was not started by an Aggie while blowing a Bama fan. Good for you.

Real answer; when Saban retires or dies.....I don't really give a shite how he goes.

The question is whether or not the new transfer QB can break that string of futility at the QB position. Because if he can then LSU can beat any team in the country. And if he can't, then they can lose to any team in the country, even with all their talent.

It's not just the QB, but their OL in a turnstile against Bama's front 7......they had two the best RB's in recent memory and they were completely shut down. That starts in the trenches.

What? It was only close in 2010 and 2014. 2010, Mallett had a couple late INTs (after torching us early), and Bama came back to win. There was no "fumbling the ball away when walking into the endzone). Maybe it happened in 2014. I don't remember. But that was the punt return disaster game for Bama where Bama kept fumbling the punt return catch. One of the worst games of the Saban era, but Bama managed to win.

You poor dumb bastard. I said most of the losses weren't close and yes, it was 2014. Christ, even when I compliment you guys y'all melt down that someone isn't genuflecting enough to Alabama.

Good Lord. When Saban retires you will all be jumping off the roofs of your trailers trying to kill yourselves.

LSU has more SKILL POSITION players than 99.9 % of colleges.

The number drops dramatically when u get to upfront positions.

First let us find a QB then we'll talk. Until then LSU isn't beating Bama any time soon.
