Following the trend for teams coming off big games. They lose the next week.

The last time we were in Columbia, they knocked out Hooker and ruined Vols' season.

Community Note

Hooker hurt himself on a play where he wasn't touched. We were up 18 at the time so it made no difference

Also of note, they blew the play dead and shouldn't have. It should have been a defensive score.

After the last few weeks I don’t know why it would surprise you that South Carolina would win
I can see it
Vols not great on road

Vegas missed the boat on this one.

No, they didn't Tennessee was the original favorite and ton of $harp $$$ came in on $C. Vegas had to adjust the line accordingly.

Only penciled in WINS for the gamecocks right now should be Arky and Clemson. Everything is winnable, but that doesn't mean you actually win them.

Because they should have beaten MS and Kentucky. Props too those teams though. All 3 are extremely close. I meant could have, not should have. Anyway, this season reminds me of our season 2 years ago when we jelled and didn’t lose another regular season game. Bottom line is Carolina is better than Tennessee and has better players when they show up. But we do have Beamer, so, Tennessee probably wins this time.

Hooker was injured on a non-contact play. Nobody touched him. And UT was down 18 when he went out.
Edit- I see that this has already been addressed in earlier threads.

It's 50/50.

SC will probably win though.

Go with SC and +2.5

wow - he blew his own knee out trying to cut - nobody touched him -

1801, I think Knocksville meant to type, "they knocked UP a Hooker".

No way in hell South Carolina keeps it that close

I don't think this is going to be a very high scoring game.

Should be a 24-13 type victory for Tennessee

Their offense finally started clicking

Was it the 24 points against (checks notes) Arkansas when this happened?

Or the 26 they put up against Alabama, which is just 10 less than (checks notes again) FSU got?
