The majority of us see a game vs LSU as an old school SEC game against a really good team, much like it has been most of the years between the 2 going back to the 60s. The majority of us don't hate you - it's a weird phenomenon of this message board.

LSU was my 2nd favorite sec school before lurking and then joining this board. I work there a good bit and like the people I work with down there.

14 losses in a row is no rivalry

I can’t believe you corn doggies…. number of losses do not define a rivalry… it’s “how does the entire fan base and State feel when they lose one!”

I’ll try to explain listen up Boudreaux. Let’s suppose LSU wins 6-7 in a row against…say… A&M. And then A&M ( strictly hypothetically) wins a game by … say …74-72 or something stupid like that. How would it feel to LUSers?

NOW MULTIPLY THAT FEELING BY TEN And you might begin to get ALA/TENN.

LSU fans don't understand rivalries because they don't have any.

Lsu and Alabama do have a long history and have always played in early November since the 60s and it has always carried significance.

No it hasn’t.

I was raised to hate Tennessee. Hard to get away from that, particularly when it is so much fun.

I still respect LSU and enjoy my time in Louisiana. I just troll them on here. In reality my time in Louisiana is some of the best time I have during work week travel. I can’t show up down there without being invited to cook out and drink beer after work which is a welcome reprieve with life on the road.
