Stidham running played a big role in that win. Both ole miss guys were dual threats too. That’s what it takes
yeah stidham/wallace/kelly all have a little wheels on them, as does fromm. But a true dual threat seems to be the only true weakness to bama's defense over the years. Hell even in losses guys like mond have at least given them some headaches.

Whatever Fromm has with his legs, it’s less than most everyone who has been a qb who helped beat them. Agree with your point.

Situations like this generally take care of themselves. Fromm would have been in the same situation Fields is today if Jacob Eason had not been injured at the beginning of 2017. With no other back-ups, Smart will easily convince both to stay put. Just my opinion though. Nobody really knows how it will play out.

The only way to beat Bama is to have a dynamic QB.

That’s fair but Bama spoted UGA a full half of Jalen Hurts

And you missed this from wg:
And he is correct. It’s happened less than 4 times in 10 years. The number would probably be zero with tua at qb.

That’s ridiculous Fromm nearly beat Bama last year with a better defense. Fromm is a great QB and is very capable of beating anyone in CFB. Without Tua Georgia wins that game going away last year.

Fromm finishes out this year barring injury or collapse. If he is injured then Fields will be limited because Kirby can't afford to have him run and get hurt so it doesn't really help Fields. They compete in the offseason, however even if he's not the starter I don't see why Fields transfers next year if Fromm is going to the draft. If Fromm isn't going to be drafted then Fields leaves, obviously. Both would play regardless next year but if Fields transfers he's not playing at all for a year and then plays his junior year wherever. Which is exactly what would happen anyways if he stays this season, why not stay gets reps and possibly come in while guaranteeing your job in 2020?

I think next season Georgia will have a 2 QB system and both will get plenty of game time. That's the only way to keep both. If this happens, Fromm will be gone after 2019.

A passer rating of 108 aint gonna cut it, as we saw.
Bama with Tua is clearly very different than Bama with Hurts.

We wont know that at the time a transfer would happen, simply couldnt be confirmed.

I doubt he wants to wait til 2020? Most Qbs don’t these days it seems like . Especially the #1 recruit in the nation

Bama will lose some game this year on purpose. It is Saban's new formula to win the Title. They get to skip the SEC championship game and have extra time to heal up and prepare.
Just like Urban and Ohio State did in 2016? How'd that work out for them? If I recall correctly, that extra week of preparation allowed Urban to rest and heal up to a 31-0 Clemson arse kicking...

People are projecting problems at UGA when there currently are none.
It is typical for the internet.
There currently is no smoke. But pages and pages on message boards from experts who know neither Fields, Fromm, Smart, Chaney, or Coley.

Fromm or whoever is the starter should be throwing it at least 25 times a game imo, it's something that hurt us last year that he wasn't allowed to develop more during the season.

That is actually a good question.
We are explosive through the air. We can be average against NFL DL with our run game. Terry Beckner had a great game for Mizzou.
Balancing the desire to establish a pound 'em / make 'em quit mentality versus taking advantage of our playmakers is a legitimate question.
