If A&M wins the Gator Bowl, Fisher will be the only A&M coach in the 127 year history of A&M football to win 4 bowl games. Not four bowl games in four years...four bowl games PERIOD.
Also if A&M wins the Gator Bowl, Fisher will have 3 9+ win seasons at A&M.
That's more than every other A&M coach except for Sherrill (3) and Slocum (8)

Ole Miss had a 6-6 season, won their bowl game, and then immediately signed a top 10 class with 4 5 star recruits from all over the country. You knew what he was talking about even if he was off by one game on Ole Miss' record
He was off by two games. Ole Miss went 7-6 in 2012. I think he was referencing our 2016 signing class and subsequent 5-7 record in the 2016 season. Either way, he was mistaken.
As for the "all over the country" comment, yes, the Treadwill and Tunsil signings were fishy. But don't forget, Nkemdiche's brother was on the team.
Also, of our nine four-star signees, 7/9 were either from Mississippi junior colleges, Mississippi high schools, or the Memphis area (just an hour or so from Oxford). That's not "all over the country."

I know he was talking about the class that resulted in a multi-year investigation and probation. Are you really going to pretend you didn't get the tongue in cheek comment he made? Really?
No need to get so defensive about a class signed almost 10 years ago now. We know you don't think Ole Miss cheated. There's also not going to be any non Ole Miss fans agree with you. This issue was beaten to death on this board for years.

The Aggy jealousy is so adorable. We get it. You want to be us but you can’t.

Bama has the trophies to recruit AM has nothing.
bama's trophies were collecting dust when Saban rode into town and his first class went from meandering in the top 20 to 3rd.
As NIL will no doubt prove, trophies don't mean as much when money gets involved.

I disagree. You're assuming he knew what he was talking about. I think he was mistaken.

There is nothing defensive about my post. You were incorrect when you stated we were signing 4/5 stars all over the country, at least as it comes to the four-star recruits.
I have never stated we weren't cheating. I know what the investigation concluded. There were impermissible benefits to players.

If you're talking about Ole Miss's 2013 recruting class, that came off the heels of a 7-6 season. If you're talking about Ole Miss's 2016 recruiting class, that came off the heels of a 10-3 season, top 10 finish, and Sugar Bowl win. Ole Miss went 5-7 afer that. Either way, you're wrong.
And A&M went 9-1 (would've been 12-1 in a normal/non-COVID year), and finished #4 last year...Ole Miss hasn't finished ranked that high since JFK was alive. Yet here you are acting like A&M's a dogsh/t program that has no business recruiting well.

Settle down dude. This is a run-of-the-mill shitposting thread. Not actual discussion. You can't get pulled offsides by every single one of these. You won't survive this place if you do.

Even then, how many times has Ole Miss had two 5 star recruits in the same class outside the state?

Ok, let's delve further into this.
Walter Nolen is from Tennessee: Fisher has previously established connections in Tennessee through Tyrel Dodson (I think he's still on the Bills) who played linebacker for Fisher in 2018, current LB Chris Russell, who signed in 2019, and current DL Dallas Walker, who signed in 2020.
Of the remaining prospects and current signees, 19 are from Texas.
Shemar Stewart is from Miami: Fisher has a ROBUST pipeline into Miami through Amari Daniels (2021), Yulkeith Brown (2021), Donell Harris (2020). In addition, he has established pipelines into Florida from his days at FSU. Current players from Florida but not Miami include Brian George (2020), Derick Hunter (2019) and Tarian Lee (2019)
Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy is from Lakeland, but see above for Fisher's Florida connections. Also, he was an Oklahoma commit before Riley bolted.
Enai White is from Philadelphia. Fisher has been establishing a pipeline in that area since 2019, with current starting LB Andre White and including 2020 signee Elijah Jeudy and current starting CB Tyreek Chappell.
Anthony Lucas is from Scottsdale. A&M's Arizona pipeline goes all the way back to 2014 (Kyle Allen, Christian Kirk, etc.)
The Georgia pipeline started with Zach Calzada in 2019 and was likely already there from Fisher's days at Florida State.
There's also a Washington DC pipeline through starting LB Aaron Hansford and rush end Tyree Johnson.

I said your 5 stars were from all over the country. They were. Without the 5 stars, you don't have a top 10 class. You interjected with where your 4 stars were from. Stop putting words in my mouth, thanks

Then why did you take issue with what he said? Because he misremembered what Ole Miss' record was in 2012? The point he was making was in reference to a team with average results signing big classes. Ole Miss' 2013 class would fall under that, regardless of whether it was 5-7, 6-6, or 7-5. They had been 2-10 the season before that too. They were bad and signed an elite class. That was the point of his post, and his point was obvious

These two teams and A&M are not similar in any fashion...A&M is known for male cheerleaders not football and being at the top of the sec

I've never said the first thing about A&M in this thread. What are you talking about?
I've been posting with lsufball19 about Ole Miss's 2013 recruiting class.
