Joe Burrow SEC Ranks
- Sack Rate (Sacks/Dropbacks) - 10th out of 16
- Average Time to Throw - 3rd out of 16
- Average # of Blockers (Most to Least) - 16th out of 16

Of Rushers W/ At Least 125 Attempts

CEH SEC Ranks
- Rush Yards Before Contact : 3rd out of 13
- Negative Rush % of Total Rushes : 5th out of 13

The passing stat tells me that LSU went 5 OL blocking without any help a LOT and that Joe was given a pretty solid pocket all things considered. The sack rate seems to say that Joe waited until the last minute a lot to find the perfect throw, and that he ran quite a bit and probably got drug down right at the LOS.

Stats with context. Pretty much echos the quotes given by the voting committee.

No Burrow, and they don't win the award for best OL.

Greatest ever. Basically if The Avengers played OL. Maybe not Hawkeye though.

I agree. It may look worse. But it will only be because myles isnt joe. Maybe he will prove me wrong. Fact is he has a ton of talent and is finally filling out size wise. Joe could slide a half step and buy 3 seconds.

Sacks per pass attempt don’t make lsu’s OL look much better than total sacks.

What does this tell you when they were 3rd out of 16 in average time to throw?

It's time to think critically, so I know you're going to struggle. Just do your best.

To be fair, he's looking for data to support his conclusion.

Good enough to beat your obsessed with LSU pathetic arse.
Please enlighten us with the statistics that prove LSU wasn't the best OL. Game stats, player stats etc not just shite talk.
Back it up with facts.
Otherwise shut the fuc up you inbred hillbilly cultist.

He's looking at only the data that supports his conclusion. There's a difference.

Indeed.

His mind was already made up before he examined the data.

A lot of LSU fans will disagree, but they were good not great. CEH made a lot of people miss at or behind the line and Burrow was adept at buying time or taking off and picking up positive yardage, which helped them out statistically, but watching them all year, I thought there was room for improvement in the run game and in pass protection.

That there were 2 OL better at the stat in the sec?

I am also unsure exactly what that stats entails. For instance, If a qb is good at buying time in the pocket, as burrow was, does that factor into this stat?
