Both are good and honestly 9-3 will be a really good season for both and might get you in CFP

They are sec teams. Judging by recent history, probably barely bowl elegible.

I agree with you. 9-3 seems like floor for OM.
Maybe 8-4 for LSU.
I like Leavitt…but people understand now that he is not a passer. Great, gutsy player … but he is not faster than the athletes on elite defenses.

I think the question from the OP is real. I tend to believe both are at least pretty good, and honestly it’s the OM win over Louisville that makes me lean that way. I know LSU dragging Clemson was the story of week 1, but the neutral site win over a solid Louisville looks better every week. Whether either is “elite” is very much in question.

True but the defenses will be as good or better, QB already has 5 picks, gets rattled easy, can't find open targets past the first read or hit the long pass consistently..Ole Miss gave everyone the recipe to beat lsu... make him beat you with his arm.

Toss up. I think both teams have the potential to win out but also have the potential to go 6-6.

It is frustrating, but many teams seem to take a deep breath and let up when they get a big lead and feel the game is in hand.
The fact that Chambliss was able to step up and respond in the 4th quarter was impressive. Teams being able to win games in the 4th quarter is the difference between a pretty good season and a great season. Even most national championship teams have a game or two each season when they have to win it in the 4th quarter.

He's also the only QB to face two ranked teams. The majority of other resumès include two cupcakes and maybe a conference opponent.
