That was a close game in oxford. Pretty comparable.
LSU gets Bama, Texas, and Tenner to prove some things. Kentucky on the road.
Ole Miss schedule isnt any easier.

Don’t overlook Texas A&M. TAM scored 38 against LSU in 2024 and 49 against them last season. Marcel Reed torched LSU last season with over 200 yards passing and 100 yards rushing and 4 total touchdowns.

Absolutely. But we wont see a QB near the level of Chambliss again and almost pulled that shite off.

OM should be #2 right now.
Last night's game was all LSU had. Run it back and OM wins by 14+ points.
Spending 100's of millions just to have your plan implode because you couldn't steal a QB with a coach is insane.

I am not taking anything away from Chambliss. That offense depends on him, he is very prolific, and he seems clutch.
But he is 7th in the SEC currently in quarterback rating. He very well is the best QB in the SEC. But he is not the only good QB, and he is not the only athletic QB. And the gap is not that wide. Stockton, Russell, Minchey, Taylor, and Philo will give people fits all season. Sellers, Reed, and Manning seem to have a few games each season where they look unstoppable. There are still a lot of QBs that can beat a lot of teams.
