Hey, now! 2011 was the 100th anniversary of Homecoming at Mizzou! Doubt any HS were hosting homecomings back then. We're pretty proud of our Homecomings, it's a big deal here.
How do y'all feel about your new coach?
I've never been to Mizzou so I'm just giving you a hard time. And I'm pretty pumped about our staff being put together. But overall it's a mixed bag. It wasn't a big splash hire of a guy with BCS wins so some people are hesitant. But I think CKS will have us in a bowl game in year 1. I expect a 7-5 regular season. Maybe a little gris gris and we can win 8 or 9

It's not that. Every school has their traditions, but ours completely govern everything about us. We didn't have them before, so we don't have them now. Simple as that. And yeah, Muster wins anyway.

On April 21 (San Jacinto Day in Texas), former and current students gather either on campus or at any number of Aggie clubs around the world to commemorate Ags who've passed away during the year. At the campus Muster (held in the basketball arena), the deceased are given a candlelight vigil and a 21 gun salute by the Corps of Cadets.

I've been to the following Musters outside of campus Muster:
Colorado Springs
Kaiserslautern, Germany (Ramstein AB)
Camp Victory (twice)
I'm going to try to make the one in the Triangle this year.

My wife is an Aggie alum and is fired up! She watched more college football this year (not involving A&M) than she had all our prior years together combined because of A&M in the SEC next year. She now shares my Fall Saturday hobby. We are making the trip to College Station next October...

I'm excited for all of it... even McNeese fricking State
I think Florida will probably the most excitement simply because of first game in the SEC, home game, and we're hearing it will be at night, which will give our fanbase 12 hours to get belligerent.
I'm excited to see LSU at Kyle, because frankly, I fricking love me some LSU fans. Ignorant, belligerent, passionate and generally ornery make gameday visitors fun to tailgate with.
I'm traveling to Bama, Auburn and Ole Miss.
If any of you Florida guys need any tips, I posted a Guide to College Station in another thread. I'll find it if you need it.

This literally sounds like some shite the NAZI party would have done...I see waving banners, candle light, and military uniforms.

The only thing we have that is similar to homecoming is Muster.
I prefer ketchup.
Seriously, though. That sounds like a big arse funeral. Depressing.

What a pussy post.
A&M's got a handfull of Congressional Medal of Honor winners who died fighting the Nazis, you candy-arse message board poster.
I'll put up with smack talk, but frick you and your Nazi talk.

Clearly, which is why a U.S. Army General (George Moore), shared it with his Soldiers on Correigidor Island during World War II. I don't remember if it was before or after the Bataan Death March.
Also, it's clearly Nazi shite because every base in Iraq and Afghanistan has conducted one every year since 2004.
...and it's not a funeral. It's usually a big BBQ. The roll call lasts all of 10 minutes. The rest is like a family reunion.
Campus Muster is also a class' 50 year reunion. The 2012 Muster is the reunion for the Class of 1962.

Actually its a party with a short roll call for those that died.
Think of someone throwing a kegger with bbq at your funeral... wa la
