I know it's gotta be pretty exciting to play your first season of SEC football and get away from the Texas 12. Which teams are you the most exciting about playing and what are your expectations?

Most excited to play? EVERY SINGLE ONE

You have to understand, I will have been in the Army 12 years this May and the 2012 season will be the first season that I will be able to watch every single A&M football game and not have to listen to Dave South!

Y'all never had to suffer through a season like 2009, in which 6 of your team's 13 games were not televised in any way, shape, or form!

Auburn says hello. 1993 we went undefeated with a TV ban.

From a Vol Fan, thank you for your service. I'm looking foward to seeing some A&M fans in Neyland and vice versa

That's different. You were on probation. I was still a junior in high school when A&M had that happen in 1994.

We were the least televised team in college football (including FCS schools) that year.

I'd say Florida (first SEC game), LSU (old rivalry and its at home), and Bama (defending national champs, historic program plus I should be making the trip). I can't wait for it to begin.

Not being on TV is not being on TV. The circumstances outside of it were different but not watching your favorite team play on Saturdays is the same.

I can understand not being on TV because you can't be.

I cannot understand not being on TV because some douchebag exec decides you shouldn't be...or your AD does everything he can to keep you off TV.

SEC is king

Most excited to play? Really everyone, but LSU, Arkansas, and Florida take the cake!

I'm absolutely thrilled about next year. Excited for the home games with Georgia and Bama. Can't believe we gotta wait another 8 months.

Wouldn't count on the A&M game just yet. Can't rely on us to SHERMAN it up in the 4th quarter with a big lead this time.

Texas A&M:

First half national champions!!!

I just hope we win 6 games man. Our defense sucks, and we will be breaking in a new QB.

I think we can win 2 SEC games and take all 4 OOC games. I think we'll win 6 games unless we REALLY struggle QB wise.

Can't wait. I'm looking forward to every single game, there isn't one matchup that I'm not excited about. Once it's over, then the reality will set in, and we'll start itching for some more wins, and won't be satisfied until we can compete. But this first season is going to be great. For road games, I want to go to Starkville. I was born there but moved to College Station before I was old enough to know it, so now I have an excuse to go check it out. I'm even excited to keep playing Missouri (see you at Kyle, again).

So to answer your question, I'm beyond excited, for this first season. See yall next year.

Our defense sucks

Fortunately, we return 5 of our starting front 7, including all of our linebackers.

Unfortunately, we lose our top 2 defensive backs.

I'm hoping this is addition by subtraction. Judie wasn't healthy all year and Hunter and T Fred really struggled this year. Hopefully new coaching and a healthy Steven Campbell can lead to some changes in the secondary.
