I'd actually suggest that's a huge negative, if true. These games, especially early in the season, are where good coaches do field testing. Quite literally. You can bet your arse that Saban and Smart take advantage of these opportunities. So y'all would be better off if Esminger didn't do that, especially if O signed off on it.

High fricking five for this guy.

LSU have convinced themselves that the shitty offensive performances against directional schools are "just being vanilla". Then, LSU proceeds to finish near the bottom of the SEC in offensive production and efficiency year after year.

Realizing that the vanilla offense is the actual offense is a disappointing revelation.

Yeah but man. I'll be talking to a random fan and they'll go to these super dark places. Just so down in the dumps. What's up?

I think most understand now that the run is over, and that's a disappointing thing to go through.

Once we slipped from #1 in the SEC, we started to see divisions in the fanscape. Some blamed Miles for not continuing to control the conference; others perceived that nobody was going to top Saban at Alabama, and that we could do a lot worse than Miles.

The anti-Miles group won, and ran Miles off. They believed we'd get Jimbo or someone like that, the program would reignite with fresh energy, and happy days would be back.
Instead, that hopeful gamble was bitterly betrayed, as we not only didn't get Jimbo (or Herman, the latest hot new name), we got no one, and instead drifted down to the Age of O- a move 99% would have rejected as late as 2015.

So now, everybody's pissed at where things stand, and trying to hold whatever ground they can. Competing with Alabama is all but forgotten, we're seeing Auburn pull away, and Miss State and now possibly A&M are coming hard at us.

That's a BIG change from the early 2000's.

I think you can handle the truth so I will tell you. The truth is that we in the South are more alike than we are different culturally. The reason I started with this is because I wanted to tell you that all of us have fans like that. It is not unique to LSU nor this website. We call them "negaBammers" on our sites. The reason it seems like there are more LSU fans like that is because complainers tend to be more vocal than non complainers. Then there are those addicted to drama and just want to stir up shite, and of course alters and trolls, and attention whores. So you perceive your fan base as being whiny arse bitches, but in reality, the vast majority are not. The silent majority, or less vocal ones still outnumber the crybabies. This website has a majority of LSU fans so they seem to have more crybabies, but they also have more good posters too.
