LSU was stacked as well. Even though we lost it was one of the best football games I've witnessed.

Was one of the best games I've ever watched. It was literally a big deal when either team got a 1st down.

Saban didnt trust AJ enough in the first game. We aired it out more in the second game and won handily.

I was on the edge of my seat with each play of that game. One of the most intense games.

Uhhh we made three field goals to their two.

Seriously though, bama wasn't the only stacked team that year.

Same as 2012 and 2014 but with different results in TS.

Les out-coached Urban and Saban the year before. Also, came close to beating Auburn with Jefferson under center going 7-14 for 45 yards and a pick.

Outcoached is the correct answer

I'm not a Les Miles sunshine pumper. I have plenty of criticism towards the guy, but when the teams are evenly matched talent-wise, he's held his own pretty well against Saban. At least as well as anyone else.

That said, both coaches seem to be able to bring their team's level of play up when they are outmatched. LSU in 2008 and 2009, Alabama in 2007 and 2012.

Saban is starting to show a tendency to have his arse pucker in tight regular season games leading to losses.

Much like LSU in New Orleans, we played like crap and were too up tight. The McElwain game plan was awful too in the November game.

I think I can live with 1-2 questionable games from Saban every year. With the talent Alabama has year and year out, there is no reason to expect less than 11-13 wins each season.

What do you mean how?

We were just as good.

If we would of done best out of 3 the third game would of been a toss up.
