Beckham muffed a punt that helped them lose to Georgia. Mett went full-tard against Ole Miss. Hill never showed up in big games. Bama was just way better.

Offense went full retard against Ole Miss
No defense AND offense went full retard against Alabama
TBF that team with a couple of bounces could very easily have been in a 3-way 11-1 tie with Alabama and Auburn at season's end. UGA and Ole Miss losses were last-minute.

In 2012, LSU would have won the natty if they closed the deal against Bama. Last year, the defense was putrid.
