The number of times you see Will Levis scramble when all he needs to do is step up in the pocket drives me insane. Hopefully he'll learn.

Levis has three years of eligibility left (due to COVID) so I’m hoping the timing settles in with the offense and we know we have some help coming in recruiting at WR.

Our defense yesterday was impressive. I didn’t expect that stand to be successful.

Not a single break out QB run. I was amazed. I thought the gap sound game we played against South Carolina was just because of their o-line, but we did it twice in a row.

Just be glad that UK has a new OC, a new OLine coach, a new QB who just got here this summer and is replacing a four year starter at center.

Play this game in November and UK wins by 20.

Every stat but score. We have done that a few times.

Yep. I think I've got to finally admit I was wrong on Mullen. I thought he was a good coach who could turn UF into contender. He did some nice things at State, so making the move to UF with access to better everything should have been a no brainer.

But, he just has some head scratching WTF losses every year. Yesterday, LSU last year, the game where he invited a brawl and did the post game presser as Darth Vader . Just so many undisciplined, uninspired performances. He may just be one of those guys who is great as a coordinator/playcaller but just doesn't have what it takes to be the man at the top in charge of it all. There's nothing wrong with those types and they can stick around and make a great living (see Mike Bobo, Will Muschamp, Gene Chizik, Brent Venables etc). They're just better when they aren't having to run everything.

How did they lose then? It means UF is an undisciplined football team, and it also means UF was poorly prepared, and poorly coached.

Box is a good, knowledgable football fan.

He's not a bitch. He's a good guy. Even if he is a Florida fan.

Didn’t go for it on Kentucky’s side of the 50 on 4th down, let the clock run out at halftime, no adjustment on all the false start penalties - I think he put money on Kentucky. Absolutely phoned that in.

Y’all couldn’t advance the ball when it got time to man up in the trenches.

Y’all got yards with no results (see #1).

Y’all couldn’t run the ball like you have on everyone else.

Fla streak of 14 straight games with 400 plus total yards broken.

Stats are a dumbass way of looking at a game. Bottom line is y’all ain’t tough enough. That’s not a slam, it’s just the truth.

That sequence before halftime, taking all 3 timeouts to the locker room with just a 3 point lead not even trying to get more points when Kentucky was receiving the 2nd half kickoff was unforgivable.

Dan helped elevate Mississippi State from where they were before he got there. But there's a ceiling with him. Never will pull an upset over a better team. Mix that in with a bone head loss or two. (South Alabama)

Those close moral victories are still losses. (Alabama a couple times)

I'll say it as a State fan... Hugh Freeze owned Dan Mullen.

You know Florida outgained Alabama by 100 yards as well.

If that mattered, MSU is 5-0, in the top 20, and currently tied for first in the western division.

I don’t know what Mullen’s deal is… but he cannot carry any momentum from one game to the next. And in games vs lesser teams, it’s like he blacks out and forgets where he is for 2 quarters.

If he coached every game like he did the 2010 gator bowl… MSU would have been in the playoffs twice in his tenure here. If he coached every game like the 2016 South Alabama game, he would be coaching high school somewhere now.

I am not going to say Florida is poorly coached, but they are undisciplined. Goes back to the shoe throw last season and the penalties.

I watched the game and early on thought something was off. It felt like one Florida could/would lose. Not sure why I felt that way, but it just felt off. Florida looked like they were playing like winning was a given, and Kentucky played with a lot of fire.
