Defense is better than the past few years. However, the offense is such a shite show the defense will be gassed by the 3rd quarter so fear not brotha.

Ark defense better then in past. But as long as Jefferson is there you will never win crap. All you hear is how big he is. Overrated big time. Big arm no touch. No brains.

Ark will be in every game they are in . More talent on that roster then they get credit for.

Compared to the offense, they’re phenomenal. I would give them maybe a B or B- and the minus when they’re exhausted from trying to carry the whole team. Iow, the least of our bitching worries at the moment.

Don’t be nervous even if it’s close thru 3 qtrs (which I’m sure it won’t be but just in case) because we will somehow shite the bed offensively at the end.

Their defense isn’t bad. Their secondary leaves much to be desired but their defensive line was getting good penetration against us almost all game last night

The only thing this team lacks is a competent coaching staff. We are poorly coached.

Our defense is much improved, but our offense is lost.

Serious question... Sam seems like a decent person, don't really follow news of Arkansas aside from when Alabama is about to play them.

But is his ceiling as O line coach? He started with team improvements compared to the previous couple of years prior to arrival, but seems to have hit the proverbial brick wall.

He improved us from the ChadMorris shite show, but that’s not hard to do. He’s too nice and doesn’t have that killer instinct plus the Enos hire isn’t working out well with current personnel.

New defense staff hires seem to be solid, though.

Yes, that’s his ceiling or he at least doesn’t need to be head coach. He does seem like a nice man which is why I hope he decides to ride off into the sunset at the end of the season before things get even uglier.

The worst or most wtf thing is that our Oline is the worst part of our team, there will prob be 10 false starts at Bama no exaggeration.

Arkansas defense just held Ole Miss to like 350 yards after they just put up 700 against LSU. So, there’s that.

Sam hasn't and as of now, lost the team unlike Chad did before he coached his first game.

So getting the team to play hard is his biggest accomplishment.

However he reached his limit as having no OC/DC experience is showing up in his game management which put nicely is pretty bad.

Because of this he leans on his coordinators on advice as he has been learning on the job.

Arkansas already lost three games this year by seven points or less.

Our defense is the only good unit on the team, and I hope we consider our current DC's as the next head coach.

The offense is so god awful though it eradicates any hope we have of beating competent teams.

Good answers folks. Thanks for that. He just seems like a great dude to knock back a couple of beers with, which doesn't qualify him to be a head coach, but you do want to see him and the team succeed. At least until he plays Alabama anyway.

Y'all have a great day. Roll Tide.

Not necessarily, but it doesn't look like he's a SEC HC. If he was at Arkansas State, they would be better than the shitshow Butch Jones has going.

Sam needs to replace a lot of the offensive coaches. Especially the OL coach. There's no excuse for the offense to be this bad in year 4.

I feel like the Bama defense should feast. Pete Golding’s defense was able to get a lot of pressure on Jefferson, so I think Bama’s should, too.

Our offense won't score more than one TD against Bama's D. It's possible that they don't score a single TD all game. We have no O-line and no running game. I suspect KJ will be sacked about nine times. It'll be ugly AF (for us).

Love our defense.

Overall it's the best squad and scheme we've had in quite a while.

The offense just seems to be confused and inefficient. Our running game is slow developing, which would work if we could hold our blocks. Unfortunately with our terrible OL the delayed hand offs are almost immediately met with force.

I'm not sure why we haven't tried to speed up the hand offs to give our RB's a chance to make a play. Have to ask Enos that question.

Regardless the OL is too inconsistent, and have a hard time with this scheme. Occasionally they will get some good push and get to second level, but most of the time our runs between the tackles go for minimal yards.

Passing game is about the only thing we can get chunk yards on. Unfortunately KJ just seems frustrated and making too many mistakes. As a QB you want to feel comfortable when you drop back to pass. KJ hasn't had enough of that feeling and he's making too many bad decisions.

If Bama can get pressure with rushing four they will have a field day on defense.
