Before game 1 of the season was Pitts projected as a top 5 pick? No. But, now he is. Why play in a meaningless exhibition? And risk 25 to 30 million?

I appreciate the Sooner posting about his team. What he doesnt know that the SEC does have good defense normally and the air raid has made many teams look bad at times.

Florida on offense is a nightmare for defenses....we slice and dice. Hopefully its a good game.

Yeah we wouldn't know anything about the Air-Raid making defenses look bad. Not at all. Never heard of it.

Charlotte...the big 12 is a two or three team league, OU, Okla St and Texas....and I know the air raid has been popular and wisely OU has developed a defense....but faced Bamas defense and Trask threw for 400 yds. and we scored 46 on them. They were the better team though and deserve to be # 1

Bama's defense isn't good on the back end. They're young. That showed up earlier in the season against Ole Miss and showed up again yesterday. Nobody they played in-between had the offensive capability to exploit that. They don't even have a top 25 defense, which seems ridiculous to say. They're ranked right there with us in pass defense so I'm not sure why you speak of them like they're the defensive juggernaut of old.

Bama has a ridiculous offense people can't keep up with, and a mediocre (for them) defense. Your CCG yesterday was a "BIG XII game of basketball on grass with zero defense". Remember that old one-liner?

Toney doesn’t seem the type to opt out. I sure hope he plays. I think OU comes into this game more motivated and that’s a huge advantage. Plus they should have a big advantage in fans making the trip. I also think Mullen looks at this game as one that he can work on things for next year. He doesn’t seem the type to really give a damn. We shall see.

It'll be a tough bowl for Florida, but I think if Trask comes to play (and he usually does) Florida can pull this off. I think Pitts opted out, so that makes it very, very tough.

I really like this game. If Florida’s whole team shows up I would take them.

If they have the rest of the receivers they’ll be ok. They can’t lose Toney and Pitts though.

Pitts not playing I’d not good.

It could still be a shoot out though.

If he can get ALL of his folks to perform like they did Saturday, Florida will win by 2 TDs.

You could be right, but I think they could lose Toney easier than Pitts. Pitts is that possession receiver that can be counted on to come down with the ball almost every time as long as it is catchable. Toney definitely stretches the field for them and is very explosive. If i had to choose between the two, I would go with Pitts every time. Florida has some other good receivers....none as good as Toney, but still very good.

Should be a good game. Neither team plays defense worth a damn, but Florida is going to be missing some players

Y’all do realize OU has a top 15 defense and a top 5 havoc rate right? It would be the best defense FL has faced all year.

We have Grimes...a 6'5" WR, 6'0"Jacob Copeland...6'4 WR, Justin Shorter 5 star WR transfer from Penn St., 6'2" WR Xzavier Henderson a true frosh who is related to CJ Henderson... a 1st round corner, 6'3" Keon Zipperer a TE who was pretty good when Pitts missed 2.5 games and of course 6'0" Kadarius Toney...human video joystick and ankle breaker....plus we have # 20 RB Malik Davis who catches passes out of the backfield and killed Jawja with wheel routes all day. Pierce and Wright are both good receivers out of the backfield. Mullen will call up plays to kill OU on offense.
