The color of the new end zone is somewhat of a mystery. Those that have seen it in person say it's the same dark gray shade as the north end zone. However, every update that we get from lsusports it seems to get whiter and whiter. We may have to rename TS "Frakenstein."

So it'll be the white arches on the right I guess?

I dunno about "white" but it should be a match for the north end zone when done.

So true. To illustrate how much in the dark we are, I don't know anyone whose seen what this side of the expansion will look like when finished:

I assume that glass will go in there where the blue filler is now, but I dunno.

Why the secrecy?
What do the project renderings show?

Dunno why, but none of the renderings have ever shown that side. All we've seen is the view from the street, and the view from inside the stadium.

That's it.

Edit: Please note the changes in the project from the initial renderings to it's current state. The glass tower to the left was originally conceived with a curved front; it's now flat. And note the number of concessions and restrooms at the top; that's been increased.

That is a truly massive upper deck.

Man those seats are close to the field at Kyle. That's the one knock on Bryant-Denny.... our sideline seats are too far back. Kyle is going to be stupid loud as long as they can fill the seats.

That's the plan. Teams will forever be forced to use hand signals.

-corners closed
-seats brought closer to the field
-overhangs to help keep sound in from the upper decks

It's not just your "sideline" seats...other than your lower bowl endzone seats, pretty much every seat in BDS is pretty far from the field.

And I never realized before that the field in BDS is off center. Looks to be about six feet.

Once its all done in 2015, our east side second and third decks will be off center by about six yards or so. The west side will be centered.
