shite, I just went through that facilities project thread.
I guess I'm going to get my soviet russia jokes in before all of those projects are completed. very impressive.

Our campus is going to be such a clusterfrick hodge podge of different styles. I actually like the old buildings on campus and the new ones have been excellent, it's all those buildings built during the 60-70s expansion that are eyesores.

I forgot about that place. Only time I ever went there was when I lost my student ID. I mostly meant the Life Sciences building or whatever it is right by Albritton, the MSC, Blue Bell and all the football facilities. The Mitchell Building on University also looks sweet

This is true though. You guys could have done a better job creating a new architectural style going forward for some uniformity. I could see a lot of these buildings looking like shite 10-15 years from now. the same mistake lSU made with its business facility. luckily we're doing our new engineering facility right.
the hodge podge look was the exact problem I had with Arkansas. The pigs have such a modern campus with so many up to date facilities, but my God they all look completely different. Their campus will look like shite in 10 years

Only reason I remember it is because my Dad used to work there

Yeah we kind of fricked up in the 60-70s, now it's just a total cluster. The Bush Library will always be a badass facility at least, and I think Blue Bell and Kyle will remain among the top 10 venues in the country in their respective sports.

I've noticed a few of those but I've been thinking the campus does a fairly good job with a uniform 'stone and concrete' southwest type look. Stuff you really don't see on the east coast.

I'm sure it's been addressed somewhere in this thread but is Kyle Field getting rid of the track around the field? Never been a fan of that regardless of what school it is.

I'm not sure, the only reason we kept it was for the Corps March In which makes me think it might be staying

Here is the recently finished West Campus Player Development Center. I saw someone post a rendering but not the real deal.

Thanks Metastable14
You definitely should post more often, btw!

There will be no track inside of Kyle. There is wall to wall grass, so no idea how they will handle march in.

There won't be a track this year, but a thinner one than what was previously there will be put back after all the construction is done for corps march in.

They'll still march in on the grass.

I really like the equestrian facility. Is that going to be on campus? I know y'all have a ton of open land around campus. Reminded me of LSU's farmland along the Mississippi.

Off campus.

That's an enormous waste of money if true. This is coming from a guy who lived for the Corps. Hell, Final Review is on grass. Every pass-in-review I did in the Army was on grass. What's wrong with grass?

Harder to see and clean up the horse shite from PMC.

Technically, yes it's on campus. Though, not really near the main campus.
See if this link works...
It will be between 2818 (Harvey Mitchell) and 2154 (Wellborn) and will link to the new vet centers across F&B road. It's pretty much just vacant land currently.
