Ok, well played

Have to dock you 1.5 points for the "Aggie Alumni" terminology, though

Gotta finish the flame, you know

does the term "Former Students" include kids that went to school there but didn't graduate?
Because that is what the term implies.
Aggie Alumni would be better for people that actually graduated from the place.

Duh.
It became common to use the term when many Aggie undergrads went to war and never had the opportunity to return.

Didn't even know they had colleges during the dark ages.
Ah, college. While I was there the administration tried to have "...the Aggies are we. We're from Texas AMC" changed to "...the Aggies so true. We're from Texas AMU". Did not go over well.
True story. And I don't want to know what you young communists sing. It is no doubt wrong.
ETA: Edited for bad old man grammar.

The schedule for this winter:

quote:
They're ahead on schedule 1 week
There have been 1,100 cores drilled for the charges and they're 95% complete with that process
Over the next few days they'll be wiring all those charges
They will begin drilling and pouring piers & foundations immediately after the debris is cleared (likely starting on the field side) in late December through January
The 75,000 tons of debris will be cleared in approximately 3000 truck loads over about a 30 day window
Steel will begin going up in February
Additionally;
An initial set of charges will be loud and high to clear the structure of any remaining bats/birds
It is planned to fall westward and inward starting with the elevator shaft and then moving to the north and south from the center of the structure

It's amazing how masterful demolition guys are these days.
They can control a structures collapse, yet we still can't hire a DC

I think these programs that are just mindlessly expanding will regret it in a few years.

except that the word alumnus actually means former student and the person does not have to be a graduate to be called one.
