I thought Florida would win it all for months. The reason why is in how this tournament went for them. I don’t think they played their A game in a single game of this tournament. Even in the 1st round game, it was sloppy at times but talent delta just made it a non-factor.

I get that but you still have to give yourself the ability to tie if the three isn’t there. They let Florida lock them down on the perimeter and had no where to go with the ball.

Florida trailed at the under four timeout in three of the games. Destiny. Houston choked hard (turnovers on last four possessions-you deserve to lose). Game was won on free-throws. Ugly, but win any way you can. Chomp chomp

I was pulling for UF, SEC and all but when the dust cleared I felt bad for Houston. Their fans have to be gutted. Gave away a game they led almost the whole time, but I guess that's what Duke did against them.

Great defense by Gators the last couple of Houston possessions.
Condon outhustled the Houston dude for the ball.Dove like a football player on a fumble.
I am happy also that the SEC was the best conference all year long and this cemented it.

Houston only had 3 turnover the first 38 min 39 sec of the game. They committed 4 turnovers in the last 1:21.

I feel bad for them myself but I believe Sampson can get him one there.
Hope he does. He seems to have a great group of young men listening to their interviews.
