Stidham will be a better pro because he is gonna get drafted by a great team and get to learn for a season or 2...
All draft boards have him being picked by either New England or San Diego in the 2nd-3rd round.

I don’t necessarily think Stidham will be an all pro, I just think Murray is ridiculously overrrated.

The only entire game I watched him was vs Alabama, and he absolutely did not look like a first round qb in that game.
I think he complete 61% of his passes, and as Clemson showed in the next game, Alabama's defense was not very good.
He only completed 51% of his passes that game, and after Bama went up 21-0, their defense never stepped foot on the field without at least an 18 point lead.
They were playing prevent and clock management. At that point, they stopped spying Kyler, and while that one Bama CB kept getting abused, Saban didn't really waiver from this. Since every time the offense got the ball, Tua scored, Bama's defense kept playing a vanilla and bend don't break defense. And even then, Bama dropped two easy INTs. Kyler wasn't really making many good reads. He truly was a video game all year against Big 12 defenses, one read and run to make something happen running, or a simple rollout and find someone open. Against Bama, especially in the first three drives when Bama's defense was trying assert dominance, Kyler wasn't handling the pressure up front well at all.
That being said, Kyler did hit a few throws and show some mobility that show some of his potential. At the same time, he has limitations that were seen against Alabama and these limitations are magnified on the next level. This could prevent him from reaching his potential. It's not any more complicated than that. I think people are so eager to mock "conventional thinking" about Kyler, but it should be considered.

I think Kyler Murray will light it up in the NFL for a short period of time, and then they will get film on him and once they figure out how to scheme him then he'll get hurt because he is not built to take the pounding. It will be a short lived career for the young man.

Really depends on where Stidham goes. If he can't get good coaching to correct what Gus did to him then he will not last in the NFL.

Disagree. Stidham played in HS what is basically track flag football. He is a prime example of a 7v7 QB. He can't process real D's. TM can.

Can I go with neither....yeah I'm going with neither.

Is there a reasonable example of a guy having clear "internal clock issues" who corrected it at some point in his career?

He has the potential to be everything Russell Wilson is, IMO, if he can overcome his size and learn how to take a hit or two, but that's easier said than done. He absolutely has to learn how to get hit. The timing for the NFL demands it.
South Carolina played NC State the first two years he started.
You could see his accuracy in the first game he ever played.
We played Kyler Murray his first year at A&M. He made plays, but didn't wow anyone with his accuracy like Wilson had.
Wilson also has that knack Drew Brees has of somehow moving just a little bit so he can see the field. Some shorter qb's never learn that, it is kind of like going through your reads quickly enough, but this is only for short qb's.
I'm skeptical, but we'll see how it plays out.

He definitely wasn't a better College QB.
Probably because Gus and Auburn* can't develop players.

Stidham can be solid in the right system and with the right coach. Murray will be a bust no matter what

Definitely didn't play in the right system at Auburn*.

After the Patriots drafted him, I feel much more confident now in my original prediction. What a great system for Stidham to develop in.

I think Stidham will make a great NFL quarterback. The kid is bright and has the arm to make NFL throws

He played behind a terrible line

When's the last time a 5'9" QB did anything in the NFL? 1960?
I like Murray, he was one of the best CFB QBs in the last decade, and maybe he can end up a decent backup or something but there's pretty much no chance he lives up to being a #1 pick.
Btw, ask him how much he enjoyed his first career start vs Auburn.
