Agree.
Outside of LSU’s fluke, it’s been Bama or Georgia for the SEC title. I will say this, if he loses to Bama again this year, even dawg fans won’t like being 1-7 against your nemesis
2024 Georgia
2023 Alabama
2022 Georgia
2021 Alabama
2020 Alabama
2019 LSU
2018 Alabama
2017 Georgia
2016 Alabama

Pittman said he isn't worried about his job.
He plainly stated when he took the job, this is it. He's been around forever and has accomplished probably more than a good OL Coach ever dreamed of. Petrino is going to get another shot with the hogs sooner or later.

If he wins the Natty while losing to Bama, it won't matter - signed, GA fan

As long as he can win 4-6 games a year then Arkansas will be in no hurry to fire him.

Pitman is a good guy, but this is kind of sad for Arkansas as a program.

I don’t disagree. But make no mistake, our society, especially in coaching, has a what have you done for me lately problem. He goes a few years let’s say 4-6 and no natty, they’ll start looking back at certain losses.

I think that is spot on for Venables. He better hope he has not just a good year, but a great one. Because with a new athletic Director coming in, I could easily see them wanting to bring in their own person for the most high profile job on campus.

Georgia’s Kirby Smart – 0.11
Probably too high if we're all being honest.
I think at this point the only thing that gets Kirby in trouble is if they do find the Epstein list and Kirby's name is the only one on it.

Of the coaches considered sitting on a cool/ice cold seat, there are only one, maybe two coaches, that wouldn't immediately be on the hot seat at their school if they had a disastrous, non bowl year.

South Carolina’s Shane Beamer – 1.11
Tennessee’s Josh Heupel – 1.11

Pittman is a weird situation because he has had three winning seasons, including a pretty good 2021 year. This is a huge upgrade compared to the previous Arky coach.
But he can't seem to win SEC games.

Arkansas hasn't been this low since the 1950s. Back during this time they had more losing seasons than the rest of the SWC. Very similar situation right now in the SEC.
In 1958 Frank Broyles and an assistant went to go scout a Texas A&M practice. Broyles had doubts and told his assistant can we get the athletes to compete in the SWC? He said I don't know.
Arkansas went from a bottom SWC dweller to a powerhouse in the 60s.

If OU had the cash he’d already be out of a job, so yeah.

They are idiots.
Debore and CBK better make playoffs or they are both toast
LSU went 8-4 last year why wasn't he fired last year? If you think DeBoer should be fired if he doesn't get Alabama to the playoffs this year in his second year. Kelly is now going into his 4th year that makes more sense if he once again failed to make the playoffs this year should be fired.

The 2021 team had a lot former Chad Morris upperclassmen and they had something to prove.
The rest of the seasons have been underwhelming.

Kelly finished his third year unranked. His seat should be an inferno.

Too bad for stoops because he’s a great coach just KU will never get legit recruits.
It’s strange the effect Kansas’ recruiting has had on his career.

You don’t know anything about OU football so I’d suggest you cease wasting your time commenting about it.

I know Nebra-, I mean OU, better than you know yourselves. 8-4 at best.
