Sinking ship? They will be in the playoff because I don't see Wisconsin beating Ohio State and I also don't see a two loss Ohio State team getting in over Alabama. That beating they took from Iowa is the reason.

Any other school and I would agree with you. The committee has shown favoritism to tOSU in the past. I find arguing with Buckeyes funny because they are making the opposite arguments they made last year. Of course so am I. I am a Buckeye hater.

I doubt Tua would transfer even if nick retired.

There is a chance that after spring training that the one who did not win the qb job w will transfer.

Yeah.

I mean it is not a reflection on the program. The loser from the Spring will probably want to get playing time somewhere. Happens all the time.

Could hardly blame either one, tbh.

He would have started almost all season at LSU.

After Tua gets the starting position next year. Jalen Hurts is more likely at LSU, since he's the rich man's Brandon Harris and Jordan Jefferson.

Why wouldn't he? Why sit behind a QB they won't bench even though he sucks?

I've been touting Tagovailoa all year long, but even I realize that few coaches would pull the returning starter who was SEC offensive player of the year in his freshman season, and who had won the SEC and been a second away from a national title, for another true freshman. It just doesn't happen.

That true freshman, though, has been given ample playing time to prove that he's probably better than the starter, and betting odds are that he'll be the starter next season. I hate losing to Auburn, but when Hurts crapped the bed on Saturday in that specific game, that's the most likely scenario that will lead to Tua time.

edit: It wasn't just that game though. Against good defenses Hurts struggles nearly every time. It will p.off some Alabama fans but we have lost only 1 game since he's been here because of the awesome talent around him.

I would happily accept either of them.

I guess it's possible Hurts may realize that his best chance (I said chance) of being on a NFL roster is at another position. Maybe wr or hback. It's probably more likely, though, that he would transfer to play qb.

I'd consider transferring too if I had to back-up Jordan Jefferson 2.0

I think this makes Tua Jarrett Lee 2.0

Guessing you missed that mass rush to the exit last year by our entire roster.
