The bottom line is you want to win as many games as possible.
That's your bottom line, not mine. The bottom line for me is entertainment, and I am not entertained watching LSU blow out scrubs. I am entertained by watching LSU play in big games. The more big games, the more I'm entertained.

So you'd rather see your team go 9-3 playing the #1-12 ranked teams in the country throughout the season, opposed to 12-0 by playing all unranked teams through the season?

Notre Dame > Alabama - Saban either retires or has been caught.
UCLA > Auburn
Oklahoma > LSU - The next superpower. Rilley will have them rolling.
Texas > Georgia - Rinse and repeat.
Texas Tech > Mississippi St - Because its Mississippi St, nuff said.
Missouri > Illinois
NC State> Vanderbilt - Could go either way but Im picking the wolfpack.
Georgia's schedule proves that Georgia is stupid.

Uh, yes, exactly so.
2011 was the most entertaining season I've seen in a long time - in spite of the NCG.
I'm not all about the happy ending, I like the whole journey to the climax. I watch each game each week for its own entertainment value. I know a lot of fans can't wait for September, but as soon as it gets here, all they can talk about is the playoffs. That means they are essentially waiting for another 3-4 months to pass. Meanwhile I'm enjoying each weekend - ESPECIALLY the ones where LSU plays a ranked opponent.
And I'm really not sure why you think it's funny that someone would follow college football for its entertainment value. Why the frick else would someone follow sports? To be miserable every week? (Okay, so I concede that a lot of people seem to follow CFB to be miserable. )

You mean LSU has rescheduled....

I don't think it's necessary though, especially for UGA. We haven't gone undefeated in SEC play since 1982. Looking at things rationally, there's a PRETTY GOOD chance that we are going to lose a game in the regular season just with the people that we already know we're forced to play. We have an automatic OOC game against a P5 opponent already that many other teams don't have. So now we're adding on another and sometimes TWO other difficult opponents. Wtf for? The reward for a grueling schedule is getting to then play bama in the SECCG, where if we win
I'm new here but, I stopped reading right here because I realized nothing you could have to say after this would be worth reading as you lack credibility.
Why even hypothetically propose a Georgia victory over Alabama? It's absurd and makes you seem erratic and unhinged.

Tell us more about how UF should play 2 P5 OOC every year even though no one else in the SEC does it.

UCLA will be world beaters by then. It’s the Auburn way.

Most football boards are bereft of highly intellectual posters that make it impossible for a newbie to just join in and start talking. The subject matter being discussed doesn't require years of membership or high post counts to be able to grasp.
Anyone with one quarter, out of four quarters, of a functioning brain can start posting here with regs without training or preparation. I'm a prime example of the above because I am new here and jumped right into posting and didn't even have to take a preparatory course or anything.
It isn't hard.
