I second this notion, first half will be interesting, Fernando Mendoza pours it on in the 2nd and makes the U quit. Irvin returns to rehab.

NH. Miami won’t move the ball on Indiana. The game won’t be close.

Do you think IU will move the ball on Miami? Iowa, Penn State and Ohio State shut their running game down. Those 3 teams made Mendoza beat them via the pass. Miami has a better front 7 and secondary than all 3 of those teams.

If Indiana can get a stalemate with the Miami DL, then they will win.

I don't see Beck having back-to-back great games.

I’m rooting for Indiana but this is not a good matchup for them. Miami has shown that their lines can play with anyone so Indiana won’t have the overwhelming edge they typically have. Miami has more experience at qb although I think Mendoza is better. Indiana’s receivers catch everything but I think it helps them if their run game is a threat and this may not be the case in this game.
I think this goes to overtime and Indiana wins by 2.

Yes. They will. Their offense is clicking. Just like a March Madness team clicking during the tournament.

Miami’s defense isn’t clicking? Don’t forget Miami’s DC was Cignetti’s DC at JMU. He knows their system.

Hoosiers. I'd like to see 63-0 personally but a good game will work just as well.

If Indiana plays like they did against Alabama and Oregon, it will be a laugher.

Lanning knows Indiana very well too.

Big difference between knowing and executing.

This is a good point. Could be a close game.

But the biggest question is how will Beck do against Indiana's defense?

If IU wins it all by only focusing on the transfer portal and not incoming freshmen, recruiting will never be the same again. It's already been headed that way, but this will accelerate the shift. We'll start seeing schools sign smaller classes from year to year.

It's what the NFL does with college football. Let others develop them then hire them when they are ready.

He’ll have opportunities. Beck has played better defenses in practice at Miami and at UGA. Also, what will Indiana do against the Miami OL?

The only position edges Indiana has is at QB and WR.

Lanning was never as good of a DC as Heatherman. Sorry to tell you. Lanning had Kirby advising him and a talent advantage at UGA. Heatherman had a top defense at Minnesota and coached for Cig. Have you looked at the Miami defense? They’ve been damn good all season.

Someone said in another post that they scored 28 pts off of 31 yards. They won't need to move it much.

They take advantage of every mistake a QB makes, and now they get to play a guy who's thrown 23 picks in the last 2 years.

Miami doesn’t need Beck to do much. Beck will be fine.
