I never said that what Daniel Hood did was not a big deal, but taking somebody's car without their permission is also a pretty big deal in my opinion.

No, the problem is that you are trying to flame Alabama for recruiting a guy like Noel Devine, because you guys are getting flamed for recruiting a guy like Daniel Hood. You are trying to compare the situations and you are making it sound like each situation is "equally bad" - which obviously isn't the case. All of this ON TOP of AuburnCPA's holier than thou comments about how Tommy T. and Gene C. would "never recruit this guy, and I'm proud of it!".

It just makes you sound silly, and you'd be better off not trying to draw parallels between the two situations, because they are on two completely different levels.

You are sounding sill by ignoring the facts that what Noel Devine did would be considered a felony if Deion Sanders decided to press charges against him.

If Noel Devine took Deion Sander's car without permision, it is certainly possible that he could take another person's car without permission in the future. You are also ignoring those facts

What point, exactly, are you trying to make? That Noel Devine would have been charged with a crime if Sanders had decided to press charges? And that Alabama was wrong for recruiting him after this? Really? You are still trying to draw parallels between the situations, and they are in their own separate universes.

dude you need to stop comparing abducting a girl and tieing her up then raping her with a plunger as to stealing a car its making you look like a total prick....there is nothing worse than sexual assault on a minor so dont compare anything to it

Re: Come on Guys...who here HASN'T had the Duct tape/Plunger Fantasy?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just wish people would stop calling aggravated rape a "mistake." Forgetting to lock your front door is a mistake, getting caught with a doobie is a mistake, watching someone plunger your cousin while you stand there and laugh isnt a mistake.

As far as the whole "thought he was in a gang argument goes...." yeah right. That makes very little sense. Furthermore, because you had good grades and a high ACT score, that doesnt mean you are a good person, it just means you retain information well.

This was a mistake to let this kid on scholarship at UT. He deserves to go to college, and maybe play somewhere else, but we dont need this kind of exposure. Kiffin screwed this one up, hes now 49 for 50 in my book.

There are a few on there, of course they are being called scum of the earth and filthy despicable human beings for not wanting the guy on the team... go figure, I'd think Hood would meet that criteria, but some of them have it the other way around.

I am trying to make the point that what both of those players did was wrong and I would not want either one of them playing for my school.

Auburn coaches actaully withdrew their scholarship offer to the Hood kid at some point. Nick Saban's midget arse recruited Noel Devine to the bitter end. Noel Devine just happened to pick West Virginia over the gumps

If you consider all of those facts, you still do not have much room to talk smack about Auburn

Maybe stealing a car is not a big deal to you, but it would be to most people. Of course, you probably dont think it is a big deal because your school was also recrutiing Noel Devine's thug arse

Give it up. You are plunging to new depths.

I'm sure you didn't mind these guys playing after this incident though..

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Auburn football players Deandre Green and Brandon Reed were charged after a handgun was fired to break up a fight at a fraternity concert.

Green is accused of firing the gun, and Reed is accused of having an unregistered firearm.

The concert Wednesday night was attended by about 300 people. No injuries were reported.

The two players were at Auburn City Jail on Thursday pending bail.
