Simple put..

With Brees I could sell before season starts.

Without Brees I dang near give the tickets away.

Do you really think that consultants are "independent"? They are there to work on behalf of the company and its stated interests. If the two Bobs show up they are there to make sure everyone is preforming and not just making a paycheck.

I’m a consultant for the company I work for. I’m a company man on the rig. When I signed the contract it asked if I had owner ship or some kind of affiliation with any business the company had working for them. No legitimate company would allow that.
I’d have no problem with your thoughts if it weren’t for the “independent” part. Elon is not an independent contractor. He has a conflict of interest.
Lmao… like cream the idiots always rise to the top!

Also..I don’t see the benefit of a lawsuit. Yeah I was pissed for about two days but I’ll keep doing my job to the best of my ability. A lawsuit would just get drug out, I’ll get fired and probably black balled. The “company” didn’t look over me for the position. Someone within the company did. Nothing would happen to them.

My story is very true. I have no need to lie about. There a few people here that know who I am and would vouch for me.

I don’t recall saying I support DEI. I wish people would look at someone’s merit unfortunately that’s not a world we live in. I think DEI and the good ole boy system are both wrong. But I do think there are way more good ole boy stories than DEI. And GOB affects all of us no matter what race or gender.

A few months ago I was asked by my two supervisors if I'm interested in taking a Superintendent position (Oil & Gas). I was hesitant because twice before I was up for the spot and both times it was given to "good ole boys". A month later I get a call from the Drilling Manager informing me that even though I'm more than qualified, they had a meeting and agreed I should get the job and deserved the job, it was given to the VP's buddy because he thought he'd be a better fit.

Me: Engineering degree, 25 years experience, worked everything from swamp barges to platforms and deep water drill ships in US, GOM, North Sea, West Africa, Iraq, Saudi Arabia..

Him: High school graduate, 15 years on land.

Oh did I mention he is white and i'm not.

Point being there will always be stories of people getting jobs and not deserving them whether is DEI or "good ole boys". I just have a feeling there are a lot more "good ole boy" than there are DEI. Has a thread ever been done on that? Nah its more fun if it's racial I guess.

Da Honey Badger was also a Matt House fan.
What draft could be worst than taking a kicker #1 or the Ricky Williams trade…

I think it’s a good draft.
Oh ok... I"m using Keller Williams

Disclaimer... I'm black so it's not racist for me to laugh at that!
Where are you located and who are you using. I have some properties in NOLA and I've been getting some extremely high bills lately too. None of my units are over 2 years old. It doesn't make any sense... or cents!

About $200 right now. It’ll be $500+ this summer if I try to keep my yard alive.

I've been averaging $350. We were in Louisiana almost all of December and my bill was still over $275.

I've checked for leaks. None.

Failed business....

I started an LLC with 2 other guys to build and flip two homes south of Houston. One of the partners (Partner A) supposedly is an experienced builder. But we are over budget and way behind schedule. The original loan was due December 2023. Partner B and I agreed to take over the project and started the process of getting a new loan and contractors to finish it out (both houses are about 92% complete). Unfortunately Partner B had an accident on NYE and has been in a comma every since. I'm currently in limbo because I can't do anything without his signature and the way the LLC is written his wife can't sign for him. The original bank has given me until March 1st to secure new financing and even though I'm approved for the loan, I still need Partne B's signature to complete the sale from the original LLC to the new one.

I woke up today with the realization that we are probably going to foreclosure. I just need to know my rights and what can I do to lower the blow. Right now we owe $460,000. The bank did a appraisal on both and they came in at $350,000 each unfinished.

What type of lawyer should I look for and does anyone in the Houston area has any referrals? Thanks
