We don't need to worry about Texas. Every year in recent memory Texas has performed near the same level as Notre Dame. The preseason and early season hype is unreal. Then they lose to a decent team soon to be followed by a loss to a no named team....then everyone forgets about them. Rinse and Repeat for like 20 years now.

Fair, you (and a few other Texas posters) have been pretty gracious in the loss, so thank you. It was hard to keep up with who said what with all the alters and trolls talking trash last week. Any respectable and reasonable Texas fan got grouped in with the trolls…it happens. Good luck the rest of the way and I expect you guys to make the playoffs. You have a good team.

1. Texas fans threw trash on the field. Big deal, it happens. Doesn’t look great but not the end of the world. In the 80s and early 90s every student section threw cups at opposing players, guess this is one of those pussification of society things.
2. Refs made a bad call, then reversed it after a delay caused by the trash throwing: this only reflects poorly on the officials, not UT fans. The corruption/“Texas controls the conference” allegations are silly. We see incompetent officials every week and just because they found a new way to screw up doesn’t mean there’s some grand conspiracy afoot with Austin pulling the strings like the SWC days
