Too soon, but I’m liking the coordinators so far. Not really a high bar to jump after the two from last year.

This Saturday will tell us all much more.

I'm more pleased at the lack of penalties.

It's one thing for a team to beat you straight up, and another to wonder "what if" when that what if is if you kept your penalty count to single digits.

Yep....my big takeaway was the offense seemed out of sync and we need to get that fixed. OL was improved but still has work to do. Was generally pleased with the D and definitely happy with ST.

To me, defense looked good as long as they brought pressure. When they tried to rush three and sit back in zone, they looked like they always look in that scheme. I honestly would like to see Kentucky run a 4-3 ... but that ain't going to happen under Stoops.

Offense ? OL was much better, but I always thought OL was Problem #3 last year, behind an awful OC and a hammerhead QB. Leary came out and proved he can check out of good plays and try to push the ball when he shouldn't. I kinda' wish Kentucky would have gave him a series on the pine to get his head right.

Davis isn't the hammer that Snell and C-Rod were, but he's got more big play ability. Brown was trying too hard. Key looked great. TE's were not utilized enough, again, thanks to Leary checking out of basic plays and not checking down.

If Leary starts off the same against Eastern ? Bench him.

Schedule sets up very nicely with South Carolina and Florida looking to be worse off than anyone would have assumed.

Defense was the shining light

Offensive line still a question mark

Milton’s accuracy left something to be desired and wide receivers didn’t impress much.

Running game was decent, but it was against lesser quality than the conference will bring.

Special teams were quite poor

Stop pretending to be a Tennessee fan, you fricking vagina.

A&M has a legitimate offense again, yay!

QB and WRs are great. RBs are decent. OL looks better than ast year, still not great though.

Defense looks solid. Not elite. But very solid. If they can gel a little more, there is potential for them to be a very stout unit.

Defense - Still Elite.
Offense - Will need to work out a few things, but, everything is fixable. Only concern I had is rushing attack needs to be better along with better rushing blocking.

Saturday was good enough for me that I invited Hope over and we had a nice dinner. She will be my plus one until she refuses me her charms.

It’s really difficult to get a read on how good we are on both sides of the ball. Especially after their starting QB was injured on their first series.

I did see some good things and encouraged by the OL play, but saw our D was out of alignment some and going against what looks like a solid Cal team could hurt us if we can’t fix that and fill the gap.

Our ST looked good in some ways and a little soft at other times. Nice to have some legit return guys though.

Cal game will be a good test especially traveling far and a late game. Basically a 9:30 start time for a CT team. Going to be a big challenge on keeping up the energy level especially.

Overall encouraged by the team but still a long way to go and I do not have confidence in a win this weekend. Toss up at this time for me.

I think our O will be able to put points on the board.

I think our O will have to put points on the board because our D is suspect AF. A mobile QB could be our kryptonite.

We have a punt returner that can take it to the house on any opportunity.

We have some RB's in the stable.

Our OL is much improved.

This week will give us a much better read where we are at the moment.

From the lack of fans in Orlando to the body language of players to execution, there is zero about another year of Jayden Daniels that energizes the fanbase.

We suck on offense and defense and Napier sucks at the portal i don't believe he lasts much longer at Fla.

His scheme on offense and defense is no good. I don't think giving him another year will help anything.

Did you see how Good FSU played against LSU? That is what you need to get a HC who gets it done the right way. Mizzou isn't getting a lot of "WOW" performances in the first game. I hope Drinkwitz isn't going to be like that all season long.

UF needs to give Napier time.

IF FSU fans had their way, Norvell would have been gone two years ago. He is proof why you give a HC time to build his program.

I thought he was going to do that to start the year. What went wrong? Is it possible coaching didn't get it done right in the first game?

Isn't he is doing it too slow? How much time? LSU was able to turn it around right away. I guess I disagree with your opinion. He got spanked.

1 year and 1 game? "Time to get rid of him". Damn!

Like I said.............you brought up Norvelle. FSU fans were screaming for his head two years ago. Look where they are now.
