I saw something on UKs team I have not seen in many a yr… defense.
UK looked the part last night vs an overmatched opponent. We will see better info when the opponent has a stronger pulse.
Another big difference for UK vs Cal’s teams is this one has a ton of starts for experience.

After one game? Well, the lack of rebounding at times and Williams' shitty free throws will cost us a game or 3. Love the way we play fundamentally sound ball tho. Our fast breaks with all dudes occupying a space is refreshing, instead of them clogging lanes.

We have a good roster. Biggest potential weaknesses are lack of a true PG and possibly not enough outside threats.

If the talent develops over the course of the season, team stays grounded and focused and gels, I think Bama absolutely is a favorite to win the SEC and make an elite 8 or better tourney run.

Kentucky squad seems good. Maybe not elite but very good. I'm worried about rebounding or bad shooting nights but the team is a fun style to watch.

Arkansas has had 2 exhibition games, one at home and one on the road, against quality opponents. There is plenty of film for the team to watch and learn from in these games so that’s a positive.
I think this team will be very competitive and I’m looking forward to when all the players are available. It’s difficult to say this early how well the team will gel but there are plenty of positives to take from what I’ve seen so far.

I don’t even like him as a coach. He did something at memphis state that rubbed me the wrong way and the fact he’s here now is comical.
His one and done high school factory at kentucky was hilarious to watch and their fans didn’t think it was funny.
If he continues that here then we’ll be just as bad as they are till he leaves.
Muss got our program going back in the right direction, hopefully he’ll look to more experienced players to mix in with the freshmen in the future. We’ll see.

A step down this year. We will make the tourney but I doubt we get to the second weekend.
