I, like others, think May is talking out of his arse. Sumlin is getting whatever he wants and doing it how it wants at A&M right now. New stadium, workout facilities, ect.
However, i was getting extremely tired of seeing Johnny in the offseason. I actually stopped watching ESPN for awhile because i didn't want to hear about him anymore. As far as what he is doing now, it is all being blown out of proportion. If Sumlin wants to sit him he will. Hell, he sat our star RB last season before Manziel even starting blowing people up. Would we lose a 2-3 more games..maybe more? ya, but he does things how he wants.
Here is to hearing less about dbag stuff from johnny and more about football playing. As my coaches always told me, "just shut up and play"

Manziel starting to resemble a thug. To immature, classless. Way to turn a great thing into a shameful thing.

Lets get it straight. It's not Johnny Doucher, it's Johnny Hancock!
And for the right price he will put it on whatever you want.

I would probably act the same way if I were him at that age. I would regret it now, but hell, he's living the life we all dreamed of.

ESPN seems to be trying too hard.
It's not working.
JFF is 2013's Snake Stabler and a folk hero.

I read somewhere (from a former teammate... Snake would get picked up after practice by a blonde co-ed in a convertible with a six pack, move over so Kenny could drive and before they left the parking lot only the drivers head was visible.

What would happen if someone on a team that JFF dissed put a cheap shot on his knee like the guy did to Clowney?

But not everyone dislikes the Aggies quarterback. Noted receiver of criticism and Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco says that he's really starting to love Manziel now that everyone hates the Texas A&M quarterback.
"Being hated is not a bad thing ... I dont know if Ill be too popular after [saying] this: I [didnt] know how I really felt about Johnny Manziel," Flacco told Jim Corbett of USA Today. "But I feel like now that everybody hates him, hes quickly becoming my favorite player in college football."

The ESPN bashing is just laughable at this point, they go out of their way to bash Johnny whenever they can, it's pathetically obvious actually, and I bet more people will feel like Flacco does if they keep this up

If anyone thinks JFF doesnt leave for the draft after this year they are fricking idiots. So yes, he is correct and its not even a stretch. Manziel will not be at aTm next year, he will be in the NFL.
A lot of people forget that he may be a sophomore, but he is a REDSHIRT Sophomore, so he is eligible to get the frick out after this year, and he will. Bank on that.

I'm just not so sure about Sumlin being there. I don't know anything about the guy, most of us speculate based on our own assumptions and what we have seen on TV. This is a sports board about opinions after all.
A&M is a good job, but it's not one of the premiere jobs in the country. He can find a job on the same level (with more control) or in the NFL if he is patient.

Meh. I don't see anyway Manziel is at A&M next year. His ego is way bigger than the college game and I don't see him sticking around longer than he has to.
As for Sumlin, I don't see him leaving for another college job but I could see him trying an NFL gig in after a few more years at A&M. I actually think he'd be good NFL HC.

Why would he leave the state of texas's only SEC school, with a huge fanbase and passionate following and unparalleled facilities?

Manziel leaving for the NFL is going to hinge on his draft projection. I believe he would like to go to the NFL next year. He has a lot to prove to the NFL GM's this year to have a shot at a 1st round selection next year.
If he doesn't project as a 1st round selection, he won't declare for the draft.

I don't necessarily think there is an "anti-A&M club" in the rant. Just anti-A&M posters. You guys have far surpassed the Arky posters.
