Arkansas defense is dreadful

Hyperbole much?

Yes, Arkansas pass defense has been atrocious but A&M isn't exactly ranked high in pass offense. Arkansas is ranked 14th in the SEC in pass defense but A&M is only ranked 13th in pass offense.

On the rushing side however, Arkansas is #2 on offense and #1 on defense while A&M is #11 on offense and #12 on defense.

If anything, I'd say it's statistically a push. As with most recent years I expect it to be a nailbiting dogfight with the team making the fewest mistakes coming out with the W.

I’m all for the pigs being confident in Arkansas’ chances. But let’s be real:
Johnson is better than Calzada.

Also, serious question: In what ways is Arkansas defense better than last year?

Why do people post about aggy like they are UGA? Lol. Also, Hogs own aggy. They got lucky for a few years while the Hogs went through a few bad coaches. All is right again.

Love or hate Jimbo, he does well when his back is to the wall

App St was a wake up call and I think Arkansas is a 4/5 loss team.

Pass defense is no doubt bad. It’s a couple of things. YAC is huge. We tackle poorly. Also, when you are ahead the other team has to throw more (forget MSU)

What gives A&M fans confidence? A&M's offense is awful and Arkansas beat them last year.

Dline is much deeper, and Sanders is the best LB we have had in decades.

My biggest worry in this game is we build a good lead in the first half then Jimbo gives Rattler another chance in the second half and he puts on a Heisman type performance and we have to try to hang on at the end of the game. I think we can handle Max just fine but Rattler is the type that if he gets started he'll give us fits.

they are better over all at stopping the run, getting tackles for loss, and have become ELITE at pass rush.

We are confident because our OL is going to push the A&M DL off the ball and we will have success running the ball.

If we can't, KJ is 5th in yards and 2nd in QBR/Completion %.

On the flip side

Our weakness is the pass defense, A&M can't throw worth a damn.

I've got some good news for you. Spencer Rattler plays for South Carolina.

I think our opponents so far are better than some are giving them credit for. Cincy had good linemen. Petrino's offense was good.

I don't see much about A&M that makes me worried, honestly.

We will get pressure on their QB and we will frick them up.

If Petrino was coaching aggy's we wouldn't have a chance but fortunately Fisher is coaching them with a stone footed QB

all of this! I think it's funnier that people think aggie can shut this offense down. they couldn't last year when they were better up front, and we were worse. arkansas has one of those offenses that is just gonna get theirs, and you gotta keep up.
