Is it possible Saban will buck history? Sure.

Is it likely? Well there's no corollary at this level of football in the history of the sport, so probably not.

Fixed for accuracy.

How so? Has the data on these coaches changed in the last 12 years?

You can post a meme but you can't respond on the merits

extremely telling

It's just another form of Saban is leaving soon.

There is no meaning to the stats other than the fact people retire when they get old. You literally have 1 coach aged 52 and another aged 71, 19 years difference when most of them probably didn't even become head coaches until the ages of 35+.

What's telling is you even thought to look this up to start with, then spent the time to do it. To top it all off, you actually thought it meant something.

Smells like fear and wishful thinking.

Eh, Bill Snyder won the Fiesta Bowl in 2012 at 73 and Mack Brown has seen a resurgence at UNC this past year.

Solid research though

I never said he was leaving and in fact went out of my way to say the opposite

Well that’s just not true. The data clearly shows that maintaining an elite program beyond your late 60’s is extraordinary difficult, even for the best of the best. These guys didn’t up and retire for the most part.

I mean it clearly does mean something. You’d have to be in an extreme amount of denial to think it didn’t mean anything at all.

Leaving, not having success, same "it's over" shite different package.

No it doesn't. It's hard to maintain success at any age and the only thing your data shows is that old people are more likely to retire.

Since 2016 when Orgeron took over at LSU, he’s 12-3 against teams in the top 10. Saban is 9-4. The shrimp boat captain wins hands down. Midget is done

Not really, though I know it makes it easier for you to think of it as such

And there’s an age rage where it goes from difficult to unprecedented, Saban is at the back end of that range.

I didn’t list retirement ages
