no....i was thinking of the interception on the 1 yard line...just a few inches the other way aand it would have been a different game.

And if frick up Lee hadn't thrown TWO PICKS it would have been a different game as well, most likely more in our favor. I can play that card too

Yes because everybody in Alabama lives in a trailer.

Where have I heard this before?

Probably here and probably about a year ago. And, we did beat you in your beloved "T-Town", so... Guess that was a pretty accurate prediction

of course it some luck....every team that wins the national championship has to have luck.i will be forever grateful to iowa state. and speaking of luck...lsu was DAMN lucky that night...and y'all know it.

LSU was lucky your walk on kicker missed fg that pro kickers only make 60% of the time?

I guess we were also 'lucky' that our defense made Alabama look like a fricking high school team in OT.....

Bama only came to Tiger Stadium after LSU played Ole Miss away

Well this couldn't have happened that many times. We used to play y'all in BR almost every year.

That ended in the '60s. LSU and Ole Miss have alternated home-and-home (with a couple of exceptions due to SEC scheduling format changes) since 1966. LSU and Bama didn't start playing each other every year until 1964, and their Tiger Stadium streak didn't start until 1971.

bama owes the bear for that record, we could never beat bama, even at our place

I think it was the specific matchup of Bryant and Charley Mac, his former player and assistant.

Bear Bryant vs. Charles McClendon: 14-2
Bear Bryant vs. Dietzel/Stovall (the two coaches before and after Mac): 2-2

You think it could have something to do with the fact that LSU only beat Bama once in Tiger Stadium between 1958 and 2000? My explanation would be that Bama had better players and better coaching during that span.

Bammers would do well remember that Saint Nick has laid a few eggs along the way too, he is not perfect all the time. As great as he was on Jan 9th, he probably cost you the game last November.

unfortunately for the gumps, Bear Bryant is dead, and neither Kenny Stabler nor Joe Namath will be under center.

look at your stock prospectus:

past performance is never an indicator of future results.
