re: The Saban Smoke

Very interesting...
Saban has looked so disenchanted with the recent trends in the game.
But perhaps he feels a strong draw to LSU where he won his first NC, and also sees that we are in a real mess right now, wants to help us.
Makes you wonder, and does seem possible, even if not necessarily likely.

Asked and answered...They are kicking arse of the only SEC team left.

Well, ND is doing more with less right now under Freeman, while we have done less with more under BK...not a good feeling 3 years in.

Jerry Jones ain’t getting close to another Super Bowl
So true...so many players, so many coaches, so many years. 29 years to be exact, since Cowboys were last relevant.
For all his so called business ability, he has been not only a slow learner, but a true non learner, as regards being a legitimate GM for an NFL team.
Jerry, as GM, not owner, is a complete failure that is so ignorant, that he has not fundamentally understood what has happened to him and the team for the past 29 years since winning his last Super Bowl. He continues to be in total denial of the reality that he himself, as a failed GM for past 29 years, is actually the root cause of problems of not knowing how to win whenever the going gets tough or in the post season.
Sad for the team this is not likely to end till Jerry moves on...he certainly seems to refuse to face it all these years!

Not really...but Kelly to Riley will be, and we will be the ones with a grin on our face

Thanks for this, that's a neat article.

well what do you call one of our linemen getting called offsides 4 TIMES? I don't think I've seen anything like that before.

Really? I don't think you've been looking close enough at what we are doing this year.

They have a loss where Alabama does not.
This statement is fricking idiotic
Oh really??? I think it looks right.
1. How much better did Alabama look against UGA in the SEC championship last year?
2. Who has played the harder schedule and looked better so far this year?
In UGA's 1 loss to Clemson it could be argued that they looked better than Alabama did in 1 or 2 of their wins this year.

I actually hope that he stays at Bama now. But watch out if he denies this 2 more times.

Take away the Blue fumble, the roughing the passer, the KO return, our d linemen muffing the fumble, and give us 2 td's on 3 of those FG's and this game is 45-3. And that's not far stretched at all
REALLY???
You counted AT LEAST 6 things there that needed to happen for 45-3. Do you realize at one point in the 4th OTR, (despite the fact that we had totally dominated statistically AND physically), that we LET THEM BACK IN THE GAME?
Had TCU scored a touchdown instead of a field goal the Frogs would have taken the lead from us
I love what Cam has done with Mett, he look totally improved over last year...but this team last night continued a recent history we have of splendid talent that finds a way to make things difficult for itself.

LSU fans are really ones to talk about how national championships are won.
Oh okay then...you guys are pretty good at it also.
Let's see...first lose to LSU at home, then send Nickie to pimp himself on GameDay at the Ga Dome when of course, you actually were not there that day to even play, much less win, the SEC championship...the one that LSU won, right.
And then somehow you get invited to the BCS championship through the backdoor because some ref was blind and did not see that the OkieSt field goal was good.
Oh yes, you did beat us good in New Orleans, but your path to that game was every bit as lucky as was LSU's to getting to the 07 championship.

Ohhhh...you mean sorta like Nickie and the Tide when they lost to...who was it??? Utah??? After UF had rolled them in the SEC?
That must be what you are talking about. I am so disappointed because we were really up for that Peach Bowl last year and everything was on the line for the game LOL. What a letdown, will never be the same for us again no doubt.

More like the 7th or 8th chapter of Reality Check 101 for "Big Game Bob". ND runs OU into the ground at Norman, and then they get pasted by A&M in the Cotton. Somehow this guy is still a legend in his own mind. He will say anything to escape from or deflect attention to the reality of OU's decline over the past few years.
re: What is the most embarrassed you have ever been of LSU?

This was one game that if it was going to go that way would have been better not to have been there.

You think LSU and Notre Dame were fricking around?
Miles did not show up, and ND had no fricking idea of what they were in for. Even if the Irish had seen what was coming, they were no match for you.

Had Notre Dame played us in the regular season they would have fared alot better imo, (Bama by 7 or 10).
What??? I don't think it would have helped that much...their defense was a horrible match up against your offense.
That being said, I think Aggie was red hot and they would not have had the "baggage" of issues that LSU did with the rematch thing. Bama might have beaten Aggie by 10-14, but then they might have been able to beat Bama by 10-14 too. Both teams seems to be on a roll at the end.
