You guys really want to get freaked out?

Watch here. When one of these guys drives by your house, you better take cover.
LINK

There were over 200 storm chasers in Arkansas yesterday. There were 6-7 who had their live feeds on that site I linked. It is quite addicting to watch, I will warn you. Just click on the car you want to follow and watch. Looks like just one storm chaser has streaming video in Alabama right now.

Well Oxford is covered well by Memphis , and that same cell is what will hit Bama . So far there have been no reported tornados from that super cell. Tons of wind and hail damage though. So stay safe .

Not looking forward to it.

It woke me up at around 4:45 this morning in Tuscaloosa thundering every other second. Winds were blowing around 70mph from what they said on the news and I have never seen lighting for a solid 10 minutes like I did this morning. It looked like someone had a huge strobe light outside my house.

I know what you mean about hurricanes. Growing up in West Central AL about 120 miles inland from the Gulf we were far enough away that hurricanes weren't overly scary but could still put on a show with insane wind gusts. I kinda rooted from them to hit growing up but after the horrendous 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons I have no use for hurricanes.

As for being a "weather expert", I'm not. I just link stuff from weather.gov (The National Weather Service) site and like many people have a love/hate fascination with severe weather. Speaking of linking sites, I'd suggest checking out talkweather.com or the abc3340.com/weather blog. There are mets that know there stuff there. It's a great resource on days like this.

I dont know. After everything gets up and going you will see them grouped together if they all ended up chasing this storm out of Arkansas.

Brett Adair & Eric Parker started out yesterday around Texarkana and I followed them all across our state as they chased a tornado last night around Pine Bluff. Theirs is the only one that has an audio feed, which is why I follow them. You can really learn some stuff from them.

It does not look like they have their live video feed right now though. Wait an hour or so, and I bet you see about 5 or 6 more cars pop up that you can follow.

Eerie feeling...especially if the storm is approaching and no rain has fallen yet. After the siren sounds and it is just an eerie quiet out...freaks me out
