It hit north of town, not downtown if that makes a difference.

I had the radio on in my car and they said it was near St. Vincents hospital.

I live less than 2 miles from downtown Knoxville and the sky is looking eerie. Usually the plateau and mountains protect this area from any serious storm.

Good luck to everyone else out there.

I think they were using one of the aldot webcams near St.Vincent's.

I'm on one of the highest elevations in Mt.Brook and only had debris damage (that I know of).

Looks like a bad storm cell could be heading right for downtown Knoxville.

Tuscaloosa is chaos right now. Trying to get to my brothers house to check on my niece, nephew, an sis in law. Everywhere you go there are police and blocked roads.

My power just went off for a few minutes, back on. Montgomery will be getting hit within the hour.

Don't know if it's been posted but Interstate 65 north of birmingham is closed (both N and S directions). Maybe someone can elaborate but I just heard it.

BTW I wasn't worried until I saw debris in the air from the Fox 6 cam on red mountain. I live by there and looked out my window and saw debris falling from the sky. That was crazy...

Hope yall are staying safe.

We're all good. One of my buddies has a tree in the middle of his house. Another friend of mine I used to work with was working today at the place and it's demolished and no one has heard from him. I dunno if he's alive or not and il freaking out. You literally cannot get close to any part of the areas hit.
