I suggest incorporating the Choctaw people into the name. Their ancestral homeland is Mississippi.
Not just Choctaw. Muscogee-Creek too.

The anti-rivalry, where each fanbase compliments the other all week.

I think they were more in the Alabama area...
But the Chickasaw were actually probably the tribe that were located where Ole Miss is. They were in North Mississippi and west Tennessee.

Nothing surpasses the history and pageantry of this rivalry.
Absolutely.
Many NU fans lamented the ending of the old annual clashes with OU back in the day but had someone simply explained to us at the time it was a necessary step to help eventually pave the way for OU - Ole Miss, we would’ve graciously stepped aside with zero protests.
Even we SEC outsiders cannot deny the epicness of this storied battle of bitter foes.

Remember 2000 well . My wife instead of staying with me to watch the game decided she would go out with her friends . I should have known that was the start of the end of a long marriage lol. Should have dumped her that night would have saved me some grief . That night was good and then it turned crappy . Deuce played well . OU didn’t have the depth yet . Still remember how excited OU fans were they put the game up on the side of a skyscraper in OKC downtown.

This was by far and away the worst permanent rivalry the SEC handed out.
Plantation vs Reservation & Land Sharks vs Land Thieves are definitely good choices.

If everything in the world worth a damn disappears, let this rivalry endure.
