What’s it like to have a bad football program for a period of 5 years or more? I wouldn’t know because my UGA football fandom began in 2007, when I was admitted to the university as a student.

Well as one who has been a fan for a bit longer come gather round and let me regale you with tales of the Goff/Donnan years. I loved the 1990's, but Georgia fandom was not a fun place to be back then.

Georgia is not even close to Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, OU, ND, USC in Titles

All you needed to do to get a UGA degree was drive down any major Athens street with your window down, and they would throw you a diploma. That was not true! You had to come to a complete stop first.

Georgia is ranked 4th in the SEC academically behind Vandy, Florida, and I would guess Texas.
So...yea..they do pretty well academically.
If you want to insult them, go after their Basketball program...but not academics.
