Seeing a lot of frustration about Mond, but I didn't see that he was your problem on Saturday. In fact he was throwing dimes the whole 2nd half. And your receivers were making some hellaciously good catches. Yeah he missed a couple deep, but so did Bo Nix. 3 in fact. The fact that you couldn't run the ball was your problem. Why all the hate on Mond on your boards?

Our offensive line was the problem. Mond really wasn't the problem Saturday.

Guy has been under pressure from bad line play for 2+ years.

7.5 mill a year.
A whole lotta shite talking in the rant in August.

It causes issues, like blasting your quarterback.

After watching the first 3 quarters of the auburn game I only have one question, have the Auburn DBs been terrible all year?

Asking for burrow.

This year’s matchup will be awesome with the Aggies. These teams are closer than most think. It’ll be another BigXii shootout

If he was white, they would want to give him $75 million right now.

Was just about to start a thread like this.

Put it another way: if you told the Aggs before the game that Mond would go 31-49 for 335 yards and 2 TDS and 0 INTs and would rush for 56 yards against our DL with no fumbles, how many would say that he would be the reason they lost?

You know how I know you didn't watch Auburn the first three quarters?

I'm sorry that you're offended that your DBs are terrible.

Secondary is alright but Noah Igbinoghene got worked in the second half. If you watched the first 3 quarters then you should have only seen pretty solid pass defense until late in the 3rd. I know there was a one blown coverage in the 1st but I'm guessing Mond had well under 200 or so up until the final 17-18 minutes of the game.

We also blitzed a ton, more than I've ever seen from Steele.

Possibly. Pretty sure I remember a handful of open WRs with Mond overthrowing. I was impressed with tackling and the D front. Plus that run game is going to skull drag our defense.

Because hes been missing wide open plays every game, and refuses to extend plays with his legs. However, you're not wrong. The O-line has been abysmal aside from a couple guys. It's not fair to expect great things when you can't run the football, and have no confidence in protection.

I was really impressed with Mond throwing the ball. He threw some absolute dimes. I know a lot of Aubbie fans have been bitching about the secondary in the game but we had good coverage for the most part he was just threading the needle and WRs making plays.

No rushing game was a big problem for you guys, along with issues on the Defense. TAMU is lucky B. Nix over threw those 3 guys, would have gotten ugly.

You remember exactly one open WR being over thrown by Mond. This guy didn't watch the game. Even in the 4th when they were moving the ball it was mostly due to soft, conservative calls by Steele to keep everything in front. The first 3 quarters there was 2 plays with a guy wide open. One was across the middle about 20 yards down field. This one was on the LB who jumped the wrong route. The other was again on a LB and that is the one that was over thrown. Owen Pappoe got caught in a rub and fell behind the WR.

The rest of the 1st 3 quarters the DBs were in good coverage, but a perfect ball can beat perfect coverage every time.

I was a little frustrated with our lack of speed rush from our guys on the edge, but I do think that Brown, Truesdale got such good push up the middle that it was hard for Mond to use his legs to step up in the pocket and hit a seem. Just no seem to hit, really. He got out of the pocket a couple times but Tutt & Co. ran him down pretty quickly.

He is inconsistent AF, but the OL's shitty run blocking is killing us.
