So LSU has been irrelevant for a while?

I said the following as a thread reply in the Score Board, and I think it's also relevant here.
quote:
Lane's career:
Shat the bed at Oakland
Mediocre season at Tennessee
Fired on the tarmac at USC
Saban's bitch boy at Alabama
Stint in the G5
A roughly High Freeze level performance at Ole Miss except that last year
Just lost to the QB who got him the LSU job.
I don't get it. Why does everyone suck this dude's dick so much? He's never won anything and he's left every single solitary program he's headed worse off than it was before. Except maybe the G5 school.

LSU will have to pay him $73 million while already owing Brian Kelly tens of millions. They just finished paying Orgeron off last year.
This is so unbelievably unsustainable all across the sport. And when it all collapses, it's going to be biblical level collapse.

I think they will have some success with him, but there’s going to be some buyer’s remorse for a while.

What LSU fans can’t comprehend is that outside of maybe Arky, no SEC fanbase would trade their coach for Kiffin right now. He is so toxic and everybody (outside of LSU) knows how this will end. People will tolerate some drama with a winning coach, but Kiffin doesn’t have the record to justify his amount of BS.
THIS. I think LSU fans on here get off on this fantasy that all the other SEC fans are seething with envy of them for having Kiffin. None of us are joking when we say we don’t want this guy. Especially fans of teams that once had him on their staff.

Well I'm just talking about the ungodly amount of money being burned for nothing in college football. The first million dollar coach was as recent as 95. Now about every one of them is in the millions, the big schools are in the tens of millions, they get fired quicker, and have massive buyouts. Not counting NIL and the facilities arms race.
Boosters are going to get tapped. And I predict that when it happens at a big name program or two, it's going to domino rapidly throughout the entire sport.

I've learned in coaching, and i've coached elite athletes .if you dont have elite coaching in college football, I don't give a shite how many elite kids you have? They will not win

SEC will extend an olive branch and suspend him over the nfl player shite and give them an out to fire for cause so
.
If you think that shite is gonna happen your crazy, a lot of you stupid frickers keep believing that shite
Get the frick over KIFFIN leaving your school, if your dumbass AD, President ,whoever makes decisions would have offered him more money he would have probably stayed him leaving ya'll says a lot more about who and what Ole miss is than LSU
1 game........ get the frick over ya'll selves
I don't hate any SEC school, but you motherfrickers from OLE MISS keep beating a dead horse move the frick on, enjoy what KIFFIN built cause its gettin ready to collapse to what it was before he got there talk shite then

Boar I agree with all of your posting on the POLI BOARD but you are way pff here... If the SEC , had anything on KIFFIN it would be out for the public to see
Hence LSU still in the conference, Kiffin ain't been fired, fined, censored because the power players at LSU called Sankys frickin bluff, and the sec and Sanky tucked their frickin tails and hauled arse home no they have to worry about getting sued bye the very players they tried to frick and are gonna loose this court battle

He did leave Ole Miss and Ole Miss is doing fine without him.

Our program was better off when he left us than when he came, by a lot. And I give him a good bit of credit for that. But a big part of the credit also goes to our admin, our collective, our donors, and our fans. All of whom did nothing but support him while he was here, and all of whom he shite on by the way he left.
There are lots of problems with Lane, including the ones I just mentioned. That is, he thinks that he and he alone made Ole Miss good; and that mistaken, narcissistic attitude will always be a problem for him.

Being a loudmouth douche is a perfectly good fit for LSU.
Two peas in a pod, and all that.

That is a lot of immaturity to fix. At this stage, most reasonable people believe what they see about Lane Kiffin. Either that is more than what you want, like ALABAMA, or the thought of winning is the only thing, like LSU.
