Especially now that these schools can pay these players...when you're paying like 40-50 million dollars for a roster and your coach is the biggest douchebag shite talker in the game, people are going to expect results. He is the coach of a team at an institute of higher learning and he's telling people that he wants his team to be a bunch of frickin' villains. The guy is a notorious a-hole and he's already got his program in legal trouble.
You simply cannot keep acting like that and lose games. LSU will turn on this guy VERY quickly when the losses can no longer justify his brash, douchebag behavior. Not just the fans either, but the administration. People may scoff, but it's true. Wait and see.

He actually can act like that and lose games because LSU will have to pay him $73 million while already owing Brian Kelly tens of millions. They just finished paying Orgeron off last year.

I think LSU and their HC will be just fine. I fully expect LSU to rebound and make the CFP. How unobtainable does the CFP look to Arkansas today?

LSU just lost to a career coordinator turned head coach in his first season as a head coach. You're crazy if you think they're making the playoffs. They may have been ranked "top ten", but that was a crazy ranking to begin with. First year head coaches shouldn't be ranked going into the season. It makes no sense.

That will be his biggest challenge. His own immature nature could get him in trouble. I think Lane is a good coach and a hell of a great troll, but I could see him getting too confident with his decisions. I think he has a high ceiling but also a possibility to hit rock bottom as a coach there. He looked more stressed out than I’ve ever seen him tonight.

Yes, all those things you listed plus the cocaine addiction and the distraction of girlfriends that dump him in the season and then he goes dark like an 8th grade romantic.

Overreaction. You may not like Lane and I get it why many don’t. But let’s not pretend that other coaches are holier than thou. There’s a lot of talk about Kirby Smart being just as big of an a-hole as any other coach out there. Have you heard the tapes of his halftime locker room talks? He’s won two national championships at Georgia. Let’s not get it twisted.

I guess I’m crazy then. I can’t imagine a more difficult challenge than what the Tigers faced last night and they still had an opportunity to pull it off at the end. It’s game 3 and we can still obtain the big prize.
