Before Chris Del Conte got here I would have wholeheartedly agreed with you. You can say the jury is still out on him but I do think he was a good hire personally. I think he's done a good job keeping the boosters at arm's length and in Austin that is a colossal task.

If this is true you guys are idiots. You literally structured his contract so he no longer had to care about coaching due to all the guaranteed money. I'd hire a younger, hungry, still proven coach and give him a good salary with a tremendous upside based on achievements.

We have the exact same problem. If Urban Meyer had agreed to come here we would be locked in a ridiculous contract with him right now and going through the same thing you are with Jimbo. Like I said in a previous post we are more alike than we care to admit when it comes to football.
