It’s called law and order. Don’t conduct yourself like a savage and you won’t find out. I’ve been to that game many times as a kid and as an adult and never saw anybody get their head kicked in that didn’t put themselves in that position. That goes for dawg fans and Florida fans. My advice when visiting Florida don’t frick around and you won’t find out. Florida law enforcement don’t play.

All of your takes are completely reasonable. I find it astounding that anyone attempting to take the “reasonable person” moral high ground would find issue with your position and the points you’ve made.

Heck, you’re the only one that provided JSO’s own manual for guidance on behavior in a situation like this.

White trash is white trash. Not me. If a cop can’t distinguish words from actions though, that’s not excusable.

I’ve been verbally abused by managers and counterparties much worse than this, yet still it doesn’t give me or anyone else the right, under the law, to retaliate with borderline deadly force.

The one cop walked up screaming that the guy was outta there. That was the first interaction between them. All based on the word of the attendant the guy already felt was in the wrong.

The police didn't kick him out of the stadium. Stadium personnel did. They told him to leave, he wouldn't leave, so they got the police. I'm not sure why you expect this piece of shite to be coddled.

In addition, it sure looks like the cop tased him because he called him a name.

I can KIND OF see where you are coming from, but the guy was a dick from the get go. Cops were respectful, guy wouldn’t go downstairs to talk, slapped hands away, said he was gonna kill a cop or go to jail. frick him. He deserved it.

Exactly. That’s one reason why you don’t rush to judgement. Anybody watching these videos knows there’s another angle to the story. Sometimes it flips the script, sometimes it doesn’t.

If he can't subdue a guy any other way then he was in the wrong job anyways.

I don’t think that’s how it works. Nobody is lining up to be a cop anyway. He was clearly fighting with them and resisting after the taser. Not sure what protocol is at that point, but zero sympathy for the fan.

The guy had already been told to leave by stadium staff and clearly wasn’t going to comply, hence why the cops had to go up there in the first place

Within 1:17 of the video, he’s said he’s going to kill a cop, threatened the white cop he’s going to beat his arse if he’s gotta go to jail, and fired a hard R at the black cop before anyone swung. In front of his 5 kids lmao.

What are we talking about here?

Yeah that thread was chock full of Karens ready to have the cops executed, some of them are posting here. They had seen all they needed to see from that 60 second video. Idiots.

I knew there was more to this story. All the people jumping to conclusions pretending as if Cops are gonna walk in a venue with hundreds of people filming and just beat people down for no reason. If Cops are gonna do that, they aren't gonna do it publicly.

This is why one needs to see the whole picture....based on this, I'm 100% behind that cop.

The cop that tased the a-hole wasn't in the least concerned about the whole picture. He was about halfway up the aisle when he told old boy he was ejected and had to leave. The a-hole that got tazed is an a-hole. He also is not a representative of the power of the state....he is absolutely free to be as big an a-hole as he wants to be, The cop, as a representative of the state, should be held to a far higher standard....he did not ask the man what happened, he did not care what happened....the usher told them what happened and it was the cop accepted it as the final word. Had he approached the man, asked him what happened and tried to de-escalate he would not have had to fight with the man most likely....this is the truly stupid part....the cop is in a terrible place to fight someone....yet his sense of authority leads him to immediately tell the guy he has to go....he had already made up his mind what was going to happen and his only remedy was ejection. The public is full of assholes....the state has to be held to a higher standard....much higher....

Hey dumbass it wasn't the cops job to do that.

The stadium employees already asked the guy to leave and he wouldn't. He had already been ejected. If stadium employees eject you.. you have to leave. Period.

The cops were there to MAKE him leave because he REFUSED to leave when asked.

The people defending this a-hole must see themselves in him or something

There are drunks, racists and assholes at every football game every week. Yet this is the first time I can remember seeing two separate videos from the same game where cops are just beating the hell out of fans.

If this whole situation had not been unusual and a little shocking all the news agencies, even international ones, wouldn’t have picked up on it. Neither would the JSO have scheduled a press conference to address it and defend themselves.

What do you think is more likely? The fans at the WLOCP were all just bigger threats to the cops than the fans at any other college football game this year? Or that cops at the WLOCP handled fan control less tactfully than cops at seemingly every other game this year?

Again, I can’t remember the last time I saw two different videos like this from the same game. And that is why I still think it is a bad look for Jacksonville law enforcement.

Why do people keep saying cops are supposed to deescalate stuff? They are not obligated to do do. Dude was ejected and acted the fool. What did he think was going to happen? The cops were going to be non confrontational and let him stay?

Sorry you're challenged on basic logical thinking.

Hope you can change from living your life like an Emo Girl

Like I said, no one here needs to apologize for anything, since no one here had access to the audio during the first thread.
