This is the old man whose “grandpappy knew the bear” so he thinks it’s still 1975 and college football works the same way.

We have/had ex Alabama assistants at Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, and LSU.

Alabama kicks the shite out of these schools on a yearly basis, and has cost some of those coaches their jobs directly. Why on earth don’t they spill the beans and bring the whole corrupt house of cards down? Occam’s razor leads me to believe one of two things:

I like how the OP insinuates that LSU isn't doing ANYTHING wrong in recruiting. They've got Ed freaking O as an HC and he thinks their recruiting efforts are all entirely above board and the only reason they would lose a recruit to Bama is due to cheating (instead of the fact that Bama has beaten them 8x in a row, won 5 national titles since LSU's last title, puts more players into the draft and first round than LSU does, etc).

The truth is so painful for some that they create these odd scenarios as coping mechanism. Sad. Truly.
