Undefeated? No, I don't think so.

Here are the biggest upsets in SEC history since 1978
-Vandy had not beat a top 5 team. . .ever
-Vandy had not beaten Bama since 1984 (40 years)
-Vandy had not beat Bama in Nashville since 1969 (55 years)
Vandy was the biggest upset in SEC history, and it isn't close.
some other interesting tidbits:
Vandy had not scored more than 30 on Bama since 1956 (68 years)
Vandy held Bama to it's lowest total points since 2011 (13 years)
Nice little thing from winsipedie:

That's a subjective opinion and you have a right to it.
However, objectively-speaking, not it isn't .

Those are the two biggest upsets considering that time in history there was not the parody there is today.
Then again, both Bama and Tennessee were both highly overrated at the time ... subjectively speaking.
Brother Bill and Mal were the Coordinators of Stallings '93 team if I remember correctly. But that team had chemistry problems, AND several of the players ratted-out Bama for alleged pay to play violations. (Phuq Fat Phil.) 9-3-1
1992 Tennessee was the year Fat Phil screwed Johnny, who had heart issues. To put it into perspective, SC beat Tennessee in Columbia in their first year in the league. I was there. I remember Hank's interception that sealed the win like it was yesterday.
Perspectively speaking, they were still two huge upset wins at the time .... considering.
