Na. We have seen Auburn try that and what a dumpster fire they turned into. Thanks for the case study.

Possibly the dumbest thing I’ve read in quite some time!

The difference is, Alabama was the #9 team losing to the #1 team, not the #2 team losing to the #10 team.

Alabama didn’t just lose; Alabama got routed and run out of the stadium.

That’s Kirk’s point.

If anything it means the rest of the SEC sucks because Alabama beat every SEC team it faced this year

Bama is not the only SEC team that can say that.

And say whatever you want about transition this or that. 2010's Bama faced the same and never let anyone push them around. Let's not forget, Indiana may have ranked #1, but Bama has an overwhelming advantage in bluechip numbers....especially on the oline. Bama just has to do what they used to do. Develop them.

Because it was the #1 team playing a #9 team that had an offensive line that can't run the ball because it's in transition.

It highlights how stupid the 12 team format is.

If anything, it was a statement about the entire SEC consider Alabama beat every SEC team it played this year.

Georgia and Ole Miss also traded with each other. Point still remains, none of you showed yourself to be that much better than Alabama. And you couldn't come close to matching what Indiana did. The closest to do that was Georgia in the SECCG.

You aren't Indiana.

Do you understand that different schemes require different types of players? Just because a guy is a 5 star doesn't mean he's the kind of player you want. The lineman Saban had was big dudes for zone/gap blocking. The lineman DeBoer wants are athletic types who can pull and block in space and get to the 2nd level and block there.

You can't just teach one type of lineman to become the other. And yet, we made it this far with a team like this.

Sure seems they did a fine job before. Maybe they evaluted better. Recruited highschool and portal kids better. Who knows.

Fact is, everyone saw what they saw

The homer you are refuses to acknowledge it. That is fine. You are a homer. Cool.

The deflection and cope is you riding the coat tails of another team while your team has been a mid teir SEC team for the majority of the past decade.

Again, if Alabama is so bad what does it say about the rest of you?

Just another dumbass who can't really talk football.

There’s a big difference between how OSU lost and Bama lost. Not even the same stratosphere

No fire...playing defeated...that definitely was what we saw yesterday.

But then again, we didn't see them give up when they were down 17 to Oklahoma on the road. Never gave up and came back to win.

I honestly think the defense finally just got tired of the piss poor offense and Indiana didn't let off the gas. They stuffed Indiana on their first series...gave us the ball almost at midfield...and the usual offensive ineptitude began...QB, OL, RBs...just unacceptable.

You guys like to claim Alabama is living in the past, but LSU fans are constantly living in next year.

When did the Bama standard become LSU?

It didn't.

Alabama past = reality.
LSU future = delusion.

Every post about Bama’s issues earns a response comparing to LSU’s issues.

It isn’t a question of if. I am curious about when LSU became the Bama standard.

It was a bad night and ending to an underwhelming season, but at least it wasn’t 5-7 fire your coach and hire some unproven Russian coach kind of bad.
